My first reaction to the attempted murder of a Congresswoman and the successful murder of a federal judge was outrage and horror at what one man could do. The left and the media (but I'm redundant) took it as an opportunity to blame the right and Tea Party types because as Rahm Emanuel once said: "never let a good crisis go to waste". They immediately tied this to conservatives without a shred of proof and before the smoke had even cleared.

” I hope all you festering crotch sores ....”
Speaking metaphorically, I hope. No one can accuse the author of using cliches.
When the sheriff came out and tried to link it to Sarah Palin and the Tea Party, I screamed at the TV, “So arrest someone, or name a person of interest, and lets see how Pima county makes out in court after they get sued.” He needs to lose his job over this, and the fact that he refuses to enforce the state immigration laws.
Not a bad article, but gratuitous use of the f word does not help things.
Why is it that every nut job has to be viewed through a political prism these days.
Can’t anyone just be damned crazy anymore?
I notice that no one in the MSM seems to be discussing that many of his peers noted this guy’s constant pot-smoking; you can find a lot of evidence that this tends to at the very least push over already unstable people; some think the risks are worse than that. What they are discussing are the 30-round magazines (”clips”).
One point which seemed to resonate with him was the argument against a person specifically doing this against a politician. Why did the shooter shoot the little girl? Even I could, hesitantly, believe that some lone right-wing person might shoot a politician. But he wouldn't have shot the little girl? The Tea Party and conservatives and the religious right would more likely have stood in front of the girl if they would have had a chance.
Only evil shoots a little girl as collateral damage. Not insane, evil.
