Rush Limbaugh played an amazing montage today of a series of Dems using the "discrimination" talking point in describing Republican opposition to ObamaCare. Ed Schultz took the notion a giant step further on his MSNBC show this evening, flatly claiming that GOP opposition amounts to a "pre-civil rights attitude." Got that, base? Opposing ObamaCare = George Wallace at the schoolhouse door. Welcome to the new era of civility!

Hey Eddie, there is not one thing in this law that has one thing to do with “civil rights”. The only rights being violated are my freedom to choose not to be involved in a massive vote-buying boondoggle to those too lazy to buy themselves health insurance instead of the latest technological gadget.
Oh you mean like Lincoln (R) fighting to free them in the civil war, or Ike (R)sending fed troops to Selma AL so a little girl could go to school over Geo. Wallace’s (D) opposition, or Republicans introducing the Voting Rights act under St. Kennedy and getting it passed over “Sheets” Byrd’s (D)Strong objection and filibuster in the Senate under “I Propose” LBJ (D).

One cannot claim a right to medical care unless one can find a legal and constitutional method of forcing doctors, nurses, hospital staff and drug companies to work whether they want to or not.
