MSNBC still the network of insane liberal hate

If anyone thinks that MSNBC has gotten softer since the departure of Keith Olbermann, think again.

Even without the bombastic talk show host, MSNBC still reigns as the network of insane liberal hatred.

Matt Schneider reports at Mediaite that Chris Matthews was "nearly apoplectic" when he interrogated Sal Russo of the Tea Party Express. Schneider writes:

Repeatedly calling Bachmann a “balloon head,” Matthews demanded to know why Russo and the Tea Party wanted Bachmann to give a response to the State of the Union address or, more generally, why they ever wanted her to open her mouth in the first place?

Given that Russo was eager to steer the topic away from what Bachmann does or does not know about slavery, the “interview” ended up being just Matthews berating Russo with questions like “do you know how little this woman knows about American history” and “what is she talking about?” Joan Walsh was also a guest for the segment, but there was a little time for her, since it was clearly much more entertaining watching Matthews scream at Russo “are you hypnotized – can you answer a question,” whenever Russo struggled to defend Bachmann.

Matthews treats almost every conservative this way, and makes no effort to hide his disgust and hatred for his conservative guests. Remember the treatment he gave Bachmann on election night?

Matthews was attempting to play "gotcha" with Bachmann like he did in 2008, but the veteran Congresswoman stayed on message and refused to answer the rude host. Finally, Matthews insulted her by asking if she was hypnotized - much to the glee of the other juveniles on his program.

Conservatives should tell MSNBC to "stick it". Why do they go on that network? They know what they're walking into.

Even Olberdork was saner than christinles.

But then I believe the Msnbc-er who insisted that they do not have an agenda or bias.

Personally I think Comcast intends to crash MSNBC into the side of a mountain to get rid of it. Letting the network self destruct would be cheaper than paying off a whole lot of overpaid “talent”.

msnbc would collapse if it wasn't the home of liberal hate. Why? Because all of the conservatives would quit watching. That's not a joke. Everyone on the right should just stop watching them and see what happens to the rest of their ratings. They'd fold like a cheap tent.

You know...you may be on to something. I watch it for the pure entertainment value. They are so clueless.

Which is why Air America folded. No listeners from the left or the right.

Maybe we should see how much muscle Free Republic really has and see if we can't dramatically change their ratings by staging a quiet boycott. Just everyone from here who watches and knows people who watch msnbc. We all agree to stop watching it no matter how provocative the programming.
