As far as I am concerned it was a waste of time.
You know, I was getting so ticked off last night watching Bill asking everyone to praise his interview that I turned it off before Miller time — and I’m a fairly regular viewer — so I’m glad you posted this. It was screaming funny; plus Miller got in a nicely-insulated rebuke of Bill’s approval-seeking.
It was worse than a waste of time.
It was “me me mee I’m as important as the superbowl and I know you want to see me before the game”, and a giant distraction from RONALD REAGANS 100th BIRTHDAY Festivities (which would have been better for the country to see)
What I don’t understand is why O’Reilly has spent every day since Sunday solicting compliments on the interview. It was an interview for goodness sake. Why ask 100 different people what they thought of it? I really DO understand why he’s doing it but it’s not a very flattering picture of O’Reilly...
I think you nailed it- I have had it with Bill O’Reilly
All week it has been - “Enough talk about me, lets talk about you- What did you think of my interview with the president”

BOR has gone over the edge.
I, too, am a regular viewer of O’R, and felt the interview was perfectly fine (the subject however, is another story).
But the self-aggrandizement that Bill has projected is pitiful.
BOR, naturally, changed the subject [to the game]. I can't remember,
but did BOR use his "FU" retort of "I'm just trying to be fair"?
And yes, it was a waste of time, but that's BOR's MO with BHO -
helping BHO obfuscate.
BOR is a boring chump who thinks he is important. Screw him. To me he is worthless. Who the Hell is he to decide what is “fair”.
i thought that Miller wasn’t his normal smiley self last night on BO, and couldn’t tell if it was him being torked that the Steelers lost and thus he lost his bet to Oreilly or if he was just not interested in kowtowing to Mr O’s solicitation of compliments. I thought it was great that he said what he did about what he had wanted to see Oreilly ask, that he didn’t.
Because nobody talked about it in the media. Nobody noticed that he interviewed the POTUS. It was so non-interesting, so non-news-making, so predictable and so unimportant that everybody simply forgot about it once it ended.
At least people griped about the bad half time show. But nobody talked about the interview.
BOR keeps trying to get people to notice him and give him props. Nobody will. He is stuck with the most watched, most boring interview in history. What a yawn.
And he can't stand it.
Dennis’ expression during that dialogue tells all. I believe he is as tired of O’Reilly’s boasting as we all are. Loved his statement “ I wanted the President to come in with a necktie and leave with a neckbrace.” Amen!
BOR is really screwing himself with his love for himself. He’s getting worse with every interview he does. INSUFFERABLE!!
Ive also had it with him talking about himself and his lame interview with the prez. 3 days and counting to see how far BOR goes with praising himself.
i totally agree, i don’t think he cracked so much as a smile during the entire segment, which is a departure from the norm for him.
I have not watched him in a while. I find him aggrivating.
I'm sure whatever the first question would be, it wouldn't be answered anyway.
