Time is getting short.
A new Pew Hispanic Center survey brings news that has to give pause to anyone who is concerned with Americas future. It says illegal alien mothers are giving birth to 8% of all the babies born in America. There were 350,000 such births and each one has the potential to multiple the number of new legal illegal aliens among us by staggering numbers.
It is time to end this foolishness which makes gaining American citizenship like playing a game of tag. If most of the modern western countries and India have closed this loophole its time we did.
The Senate Republican minority is making plans to end the anchor baby loophole which allows hundreds of thousands if not millions of otherwise unqualified immigrants to stream into our midst.
The birth of a single baby born on American soil can open a floodgate for family members who swell the ranks for our unemployed uninsured and frequently illiterate populations all of whom we are force to pay to support.
The Senate bill sponsored by Rand Paul and David Vitter would require that at least one parent already be a citizen legal immigrant or member of Americas Armed Forces in order for a baby born in America to automatically be a citizen.
No longer would American citizenship be cheapened by conniving residents of countries like China, Russia Mexico and various other Central and South American counties.
States not waiting for federal action
Tired of federal foot dragging, states are working to plug the anchor baby loophole. Currently fourteen states ranging from one end of the country to another are making preparations to take control of the situation ...
Arizona, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah.

Study: 98.5% of Crimes Go Unpunished in Mexico
MEXICO CITY Some 98.5 percent of the crimes committed in Mexico go unpunished, the Milenio newspaper reported over the weekend, citing a new study by the Monterrey Institute of Technology.
Of the 7.48 million crimes both federal and common committed in Mexico this year, according to the study, the conviction rate has been only about 1 percent.
Only about 64,000 crimes have been reported, the study found.
About 15 percent of reported crimes are investigated, but only about 4 percent of the cases are completed due to the slowness in the majority of the proceedings and failure to comply with the law, the study said.
The average length of an investigation, however, has been reduced substantially from 269 days in 2006 to 130 days today.
Only about 1.75 percent of suspects ever get convicted, with the sentences imposed totaling 112,249.
The study was prepared using figures from President Felipe Calderons fourth state of the nation report, which came out in September, as well as other official statistics.
Projections in the study assume that the trends in the official figures will continue.
The judicial reforms enacted in 2008, calling for the use of oral hearings to speed cases through court, have been implemented in only seven states. Mexico has 31 states plus a Federal District.
A study released by the Private Security Council, meanwhile, said in a report that Mexico City had the second-highest number of drug-related crimes and kidnappings in the country.
The report issued by the council, which is made up of about 200 private security firms, said the drug business grew about 20 percent in Mexico City in one month, while nearly half of kidnappings were of the express variety, 26.8 percent were conventional and 21.9 percent were carried out with the goal of murdering the victim.
The high crime rate, according to the council, is fueled by the fact that 60 percent of the 110,000 police officers in the capital are assigned to the bank and security divisions, which guard businesses and commercial buildings. EFE
8%? Like the “12 million here” figure, you can probably triple that 8% number. In my area they are probably a majority of the births.
Canada dealt with this issue w-a-y back when they realized that Chinese women were coming over pregnant, pre-labor & having anchor babies to gain citizenship for the mother & child.
There’s no reason why we cannot emulate their laws here.
Ping!
A bit more encouragement...

MOMENTUM IS BUILDING TO END BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP
11 MORE SIGNERS OF FEDERAL BILL KEEP UP THE PRESSURE
The Library of Congress announced today that 11 more U.S. Representatives have co-sponsored H.R. 140 to end giving U.S. citizenship to the births of illegal aliens, temporary foreign workers and foreign tourists.
Thanks to all of you in 56 Congressional Districts throughout the country, H.R. 140 now has 56 signers!
All of these signed up yesterday!
Rep Bachus, Spencer (AL-6)
Rep Duncan, Jeff (SC-3)
Rep Forbes, J. Randy (VA-4)
Rep Griffin, Tim (AR-2)
Rep Neugebauer, Randy (TX-19)
Rep Palazzo, Steven M. (MS-4)
Rep Rogers, Mike D. (AL-3)
Rep Royce, Edward R. (CA-40)
Rep Sessions, Pete (TX-32)
Rep Stearns, Cliff (FL-6)
Rep Walberg, Tim (MI-7)
ACTION 1:
If you live in the other 379 Congressional Districts, send another fax urging your U.S. Representative to sign up. Find it here: www.NumbersUSA.com/actionbuffet
We need to get across the 100 mark before winter is over to show the House leadership that this is an issue the American voters really want tackled.
ACTION 2: Several dozens of you have a U.S. Representative who promised during the 2010 campaign to support an end to birthright citizenship but who have done nothing in the month since H.R. 140 was introduced.
You will find a specialized fax to send if your Congress(wo)man is one of those.
I can tell you that your reminding these Members of their promises has caused quite a few staff people to get their feathers ruffled and complain that NumbersUSA is being too pushy. One staffer said, Whats the rush, nothings going to happen until next fall at the earliest, anyway.
That staffer attitude is exactly why it is so important for citizens like you to put the pressure on Members and keep it on.
Members of Congress love to string stuff out and out and out until it is too late to do anything about an issue. Lets have a House floor vote on birthright citizenship this year. Then, if we dont win the first time, we will have the roll call to know who our opponents are for sure and work on them for another vote in 2012.
Were especially finding that a lot of freshmen Members are a little startled to find out that voters in their Districts want action right away. KEEP STARTLING THEM.
YOUR CONTACT WTIH STATE LEGISLATORS IS CRITICAL RIGHT NOW
None except that Canada had the will to enact this sensible measure. Our federalistas will fight tooth and nail against the states to enact it.
What really is sad there is no intent to have kids. I believe many see having kids as a way to collect income from they make low wages and much of their kids needs are shifted to the taxpayer. It’s a sweet deal, the kids get all medicals services for free, all school meals, supplies for free, each month gov sends ebt card to supply free food. If the entitlement programs dryed up, they would not come here to have kids
It sounds great but I got a feeling we better have a bevy of lawyers to fight all the left wingers who will challenge it.
