Understanding what really goes on inside the headquarters of left-wing activist group Media Matters is tough, based on the content it churns out on its website.
However, Fox News Channel’s “Red Eye” took a stab at it on Wednesday. Host Greg Gutfeld explained he had scored an “exclusive” with a Media Matters contributor.
“For most people, the organization known as Media Matters remains a mystery – a group funded largely by George Soros, they claim their job is to uncover media bias. But over the years it has mutated into an organ that sole purpose is to angrily target Fox News with all sorts of accusations,” Gutfeld said. “And it’s led many of us to wonder what really goes on there. Well in a ‘Red Eye’ exclusive, we are about to meet an actual Media Matters employee. For his own safety we have protected his identity.”

I just went to meiamatters.com. And I thought we could be a bit obsessed here, at least Free Republic quotes hundreds of sources, but all they do at MM is Beck this, Fox that, Beck Beck, Fox, Palin. Yikes, it is truly demented.
I was watching the Ted Baxter Factor on FNC last night. They had a segment where a guy from MM with a camera phone tried to ambush Jesse Waters, the guy that Ted Baxter sends out to ambush people. It was pathetic.
The guy came up to Waters and asked the following question: “according to an anonymous source who used to work at Fox News, Fox News just makes stuff up, how do you react to that?” Waters was too busy laughing at the guy’s camera phone to respond. My response would have been, “really, according to an anonymous source that I know who knows you, you like to screw animals, how do you respond to that?”
I love it, anonymous sources, what a hoot.
We need to remember the differences between the left and the right in the mindset towards free speech and discussion. The left prefers to stiffle and silence anything they disagree with while the right prefers to let those they disagree with speak as much as possible, so that everyone can see just how wacky that person is.
That diagram looks like the female reproductive system but much scarier.
Almost always throws them right off the tracks into the briar swamp, from which they never recover. I have never had that line fail to end the discussion with a taunting, straw-man employing opponent, though is has gotten my FreeRepublic account suspended on more than one occasion.
In my thirteen years here, I have had around a dozen FR logons. Usually due to overly aggressive political repartée (always in reply, I never went tactical nuke on attack). That, and it was the Admin Mod's attempt to resuscitate the relative sanity of those limp-oids whose poor decision it was to take our debate down to a street level, where I always ended up verbally kicking their teeth in and leaving them snotting and mewling in a fetal ball on the floor.
Not that I'm particularly proud of it, mind you...
