A pitiful, malnourished abandoned drug horse, used to move drugs across the Mexican border into Arizona, was so weak it kept trying to sit back on its hind legs because its front legs were too weak to hold it up, according to [the] NY TIMES.
Brad Cowan, a 28 year livestock officer with the Arizona Department of Agriculture, and his partner had to carry it into a horse trailer. “I’d get angry when I’d see the condition these horses were in,” he said. Horrible sores from poorly fitting make shift saddles become infected, and their hooves get severely cut and infected. This horse had deep wounds in its hide and was very sick.
Cartels use these Mexican horses to smuggle all kinds of drugs into our country and then usually just turn them loose in or around Phoenix and the Tonto National Forest.
Judy Glore, president of Heart of Tucson, a horse rescue operation, got a call about Lucky, a drug horse that had his tongue almost “cut in 1/2 from a sharp wire forced into his mouth.” She says she often gets horses in that are sticks and bones with horribly cut and damaged hooves.
Rim Rock, an abandoned drug horse who was let loose in the Tonto National Forest, still suffers from deeply injured hooves, and must wear cushions because of the injuries.
These poor animals are driven to exhaustion and given little water to drink or food to eat in high desert heat by cruel drug smugglers whose only concern is to force drugs into America, and in doing so ruin even more generations of our young people.
“Last year, seven horses laden with 971 pounds of marijuana were discovered by Border Patrol agents in the Patagonia Mountains, ” ….

"Cruel"? That's being nice to the drug smugglers. The better words to describe them are...just plain evil.
Increasingly, I’m of the opinion that if the civilized world is to survive and prosper, it must eradicate those parts of the world that remain stubbornly uncivilized.
Strategic nuclear weapons used against the countries that harbor the cartels will put an end to this.
Without meaning to be cruel or evil........the same cartels are killing people. Sorry but I hold human life in far greater reguard than animal life.
However perhaps it will jar some liberal minds into closing the southern border to protect the animals.
Just another proud moment for our malfeasant and law-breaker-supporting federal government.

In my view God wants us to care about both. To me the take home message is that the knee jerk support of the left for all that is not American is sick, and puts them right there in the same category as those disgusting drug cartels that would kill people and hurt animals. Life, all life, is precious. Cruelty, all cruelty is an affront to God and a barrier to the preservation and growth of human spirituality.
One of my favorite questions to leftists is about who they would most trust to take care of and love their children if, God forbid, their own lives were ending. If they are honest with themselves they certainly wouldn't want them taken care of by a cynical leftist like BIll Maher, or many other leftists and feminists.
Smugglers here have actually stolen horses from ranches to pack their drugs on, waiting for them to get ahold of some broncs one day...
Put together a small group of retired spec-ops people and start hunting these bastards down. No jail, no ICE, no border personnel.
Find the scum, cut out their innards and feed them to the buzzards. The more torture and the more gruesome the act the better.
The way you get rid of terrorists is to terrorize them.
Our weak young people don’t care about anything or anyone other than themselves and what they can snort or shoot into their pathetic bodies to get high. Talk about a worthless existence that costs law-abiding taxpayers a fortune in law enforcement, courts, incarceration and rehabilitation that rarely cures the addict.
The Chinese took addicts to the steps of their courts and shot them. All in all, perhaps the best way to deal with this misery in society.
May there be a special horrifying and peretually painfull place for the Drug smugglers in Hell.

Am thinking of that horrible commercial. . .perhaps, we need one, similar - against drugs - and 'for' Border Control beyond Obama's negligence. . .and with dying horses; it might make an impact.
There surely, must be another classification of humans; that these 'people'- so called - fall into; that speaks to those humans, who are far worse than scum. Calling them 'animals' is truly unfair. . .and does not get even close to the freaking blackness of their hearts and souls.
