The White House is quick to defend the only religion liberals recognize as legitimate in preparation for congressional hearings on Islamic radicalization in America. Liberals show no such tolerance toward Christianity, but tirelessly defend the rights of terrorists as long as they remember to shout “allahu akbar” at some point during their killing rampages.
Rep. Peter King of New York wants to study the reasons why young people are turning themselves into jihadis at such a terrifying rate. Rather than applaud King’s efforts to combat extremism, those much lauded “moderates” are pitching a collective hissy fit.
We’re endlessly reminded that the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful model citizens. Logic would dictate that these folks would be delighted to cooperate in outing those who would bring disgrace to their allegedly great religion.
Since 9/11, we’ve heard precious little from the “moderates” condemning violent jihad. What can we conclude from this silence other than complicity or fear of retaliation? Either conclusion isn’t exactly source of comfort to the rest of us.
Protecting the citizenry against attack is one of the few powers given to the federal government by the Constitution. Thus, it’s a source of great irritation to the left.
Any minute now, we’ll be hearing comparisons to the McCarthy hearings, which is yet another indictment against public education. Anyone who knows history is well aware that McCarthy was right.

Leftists and jihadis have a deep, loving, admiring relationship. Both hate the Judeo-Christian underpinnings of this country. Both want to eliminate Western Civilization and replace it with an oppressive, totalitarian dictatorship that will control every aspect of human behavior.
Both hate themselves. Both love death and total annihilation. Both believe in a false deity. Both believe they don’t have to tell the truth. Both act in total discord with human nature. Both are angry all the time. Neither one has a sense of humor.
The only difference is that liberals don’t know how to slice heads slowly off living Jewish necks and film the ceremony to post it on the internet.

I think that's really the cause. They hate the idea of America so much they become drawn to whoever happens to be our enemy at the time.
Just look at how many of them took up Eastern religions during the time we were engaged in SE Asia.
