Team Obama Directly Working to Recall Wisconsin Republicans [The Fifth Column Advances.]
ATR ^ | 2011-03-08 | Joshua Culling

Posted on 03/08/2011 11:55:18 AM PST by 92nina

...This morning, Wisconsin Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald said in a radio interview that President Obama's political team is directly involved in burgeoning efforts to recall Republican elected officials (emphasis on the word "elected," as in chosen by the people of Wisconsin in a democratic vote four months ago):

"There's many people that are beginning to believe this is a delay tactic by the Democrats in the Senate so that these recall elections can be organized by the Obama team out of Chicago, which they are, as we start to do the research on the people that have filed the petition," Fitzgerald told Newsradio 620 WTMJ's "Wisconsin's Morning News."

When asked whether Fitzgerald knew that for a fact, he responded, "The organizer against (River Hills Republican Senator) Alberta Darling definitely has direct links to the Obama camp. There's no doubt about it. These guys might be out until June. Unfortunately, what they're trying to do is flip the majority, and I think that's becoming very evident."

This is yet another coup for the state of Illinois. The Senate Democrat caucus has been vacationing in the state for 18 days, providing some much-needed stimulus to the Quinn Economy. Now it has surfaced that they will pay Obama's Chicago team to organize a recall effort...

The House voted out the charges. (indictment) He resigned before the Senate could complete the process.
Still an Impeachment. Just like BUBBA. He was indicted (Impeachment) But Senate didn’t have the stones to bring in the verdict. He was still Impeached, just not convicted.

Tes, he was impeached!

About 2 weeks after Nixon resigned, the House passed Articles of Impeachment. Peter Rodino (D-NJ) said it was important for the record.

Walker and the Fitzgeralds are begging the Dems to come back from IL while the national unions are working feverishly to get Repub senators recalled. Instead of going ahead with other business, the Repubs are just sitting around waiting for the fleebaggers to call. The voters have turned against Walker and you think he’s doing ok?

Apply this to the 2012 elections. Obama and the dems will not step down and transfer power if we win. Now ask yourself why so many candidates on our side don’t seem to high on running.

It will not happen. Question is, what do we do about it?

“In all of this, Richard M. Nixon has acted in a manner contrary to his trust as President and subversive of constitutional government, to the great prejudice of the cause of law and justice and to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.”

Obama has committed and continues to commit this Impeachable offense.

Just one man's opinion; If the mafia/union loses this fight in WI I will venture to guess that some elected republican officials in the next state that tries to neuter the unions will be made offers they dare not refuse.

Oh it was more than a cover up.

“Article 3
In his conduct of the office of President of the United States, Richard M. Nixon, contrary to his oath faithfully to execute the office of President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in violation of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, has failed without lawful cause or excuse to produce papers and things as directed by duly authorized subpoenas issued by the Committee on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives on April 11, 1974, May 15, 1974, May 30, 1974, and June 24, 1974, and willfully disobeyed such subpoenas. The subpoenaed papers and things were deemed necessary by the Committee in order to resolve by direct evidence fundamental, factual questions relating to Presidential direction, knowledge or approval of actions demonstrated by other evidence to be substantial grounds for impeachment of the President. In refusing to produce these papers and things Richard M. Nixon, substituting his judgment as to what materials were necessary for the inquiry, interposed the powers of the Presidency against the the lawful subpoenas of the House of Representatives, thereby assuming to himself functions and judgments necessary to the exercise of the sole power of impeachment vested by the Constitution in the House of Representatives.

In all of this, Richard M. Nixon has acted in a manner contrary to his trust as President and subversive of constitutional government, to the great prejudice of the cause of law and justice, and to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.

Wherefore, Richard M. Nixon, by such conduct, warrants impeachment and trial, and removal from office.

I cannot find the Times article that I remember reading about this in school. I remember this because I did a lengthy paper on the subject at the time.

In any event, that would, apparently not count as impeachment, if indeed it ever happened as I allege.

Therefore, my comments must be amended to state, no, he was not impeached.

My bad...

Now ask yourself why so many candidates on our side don’t seem to high on running.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

** They will be bankrupted by frivolous lawsuits regarding campaign finance issues regardless if they win or lose. ( Example: Sarah Palin)

** If they do win, once they are out of office they will no longer be defended by the government attorneys for decisions they made when in office. Example: Donald Rumsfeld ( although he was in an appointed position, not an elected one.)

** If they do win, they better win by 5 to 7% points, because there will be recounts until enough votes are found in trunks of cars for the Democrat to take the seat. Example: Al Frankin

** If they run, their families will be savaged by the press. Example: the Palin family.

** If they run, the most innocent remarks will be stirred into a racist tornado by our Marxist press. Example: the word “ca ca”.

Yes. All of the Democrats should face recall efforts too...especially the close races.

Wonder if this is why bamster moved his campaign office to Chicago (instead of keeping it in DC like most pres. re-election campaigns have done).

There is no provision in the Constitution for the impeachment of someone who is no longer the President in office.

He was not impeached, regardless of that extra-constitutional action.

Should he have been impeached? You betcha. Was he? No.

The House COMMITTEE voted out Articles of Impeachment. Nixon resigned before the House as a whole could vote on impeachment.

Every day the Republicans in Wisconsin allow this situation to continue they are shooting themselves and their brothers in the foot.

They need to break up the bill and pass it in parts.

Ohio’s republican leaders are by comparison absolutely insane for wanting to delay this anther few weeks.

They must want the union power in that State uses the fear to demolish them. At this point the many lies the union has told may never be demolished among the non-public union population before next election.

This is idiotic.

On second thought, I do not recall an impeachment vote in the whole House, and Google doesn’t turn up any such vote.

Do you have a source for that information that you could link us to?
