On 03/10/2011, AnyStreeters, FReepers and other fellow patriots met in Tallahassee, at the Capitol, to show their support for Governor Rick Scott spending cuts and new trimmed budget.
It was such a great event !!!

All I can say is THANK YOU ALL!
Hey friend, know you must have been extra tired when you read my post. I did say Frantz spoke and that he is Director of NAACPC. Just added that our own Florida Freeper, Lloyd Marcus, is President of NAACPC. Sure most Florida Freepers know that.
I was involved in one of the first introductory events of NAACPC which was held in Orlando in July/2010 by Dan Fanelli, who ran for Congress in the Republican Primary from District 8. Both Frantz and Lloyd spoke at that event.
It was wonderful, and here is the video clip for Florida patriots who missed it!

My son always laughs at these racist libs. They are so obsessed with people’s color, they simply can’t believe conservatives “judge people by the content of the character”, not outside pigment.
I remember his very first vote was in a presidential primary, and it was for a black man. And it wasn’t Obama. He always tells libs, I voted for a black man for president before you voted for Obama. It’s so strange to me they look shocked. They actually believe their own hype.
Good Morning,
I am here to speak in support of House Bill 7019.
My name is Jean Morris and I am from St. Petersburg, Fl. My teaching career in Public Schools began in Connecticut way back in 1963, and continued in Pinellas County Florida from 1969 through 2006. I retired in June of 2006 from the profession I loved for 43 years, to spend more time with my sweetheart.
Through my 43 years of teaching five and six year old children, I have observed the very best and the worst in teaching. It has always been my opinion that teachers who love children and love teaching, know in their hearts if they are excellent at what they do and whether or not they are providing the best for their students. I was a teacher for 43 years, who had tenure. But I knew I never needed it because my heart was in my work, and my work spoke for itself. I believe excellent teachers know they do not need “tenure” in order to have job security.
Tenure has provided a safe haven for many teachers who really should have chosen a different profession. With tenure in place, schools are stifled by not being able to let go of the people who are not doing the best for their students; in other words, the focus is not on what is best for our children, but rather on providing job security. The “Last in, First out” policy is outdated and has no place in a system that is focused on putting students first. I can tell you what this policy brought one state: It caused their Teacher of the Year to be laid off during cuts last year because she did not have tenure. You might be interested to know where that happened. It was in Wisconsin.
Everyone knows if you cannot let poor quality employees go, you cannot hire better employees with the lure of higher salaries. This is true in the business world as well as education. No amount of money will improve education if you can not terminate bad employees. I believe quality teachers know this is true. They have no doubt had the experience of working along side a teacher whose classroom they would avoid for their own children, and whom they wish would leave the teaching profession.
What this bill does, is celebrate our best teachers and offer them recognition and rewards for the hard work they do, every single day. It is time the teaching profession is able to clean their ranks of teachers who are not, for various reasons, providing the best educational experiences for students.
I urge all members of the Florida House to pass House Bill 7019.
Thank you for listening.

Thank you Jean!
Great pics J! You and .357 are the GREATEST!!!!
I certainly DITTO your comments to JimRob! Our Florida Freepers are rockin and we will keep on being active where it counts to get the job done in 20212 to make Florida solid Conservative nationally!
We have our work cut out for 2012 and won't waste any time doing things like visiting DU or similar sites to see what those ignorant people say and do. They are not worth ANY of our time! They most likely represent about .00001% of Americans with their hate. Who cares what they think?
I would invite FREEPERS EVERYWHERE who visit the hate filled sites like DU to quit going there and spend that same time plus more in your own state helping to elect Conservatives into office. Getting involved with other patriots in your state is how we will save our Republic! Just look at the results of the 2010 elections and you will see what can be done when patriots get organized and active!
No time to waste...2012 is around the corner!
You betcha! Floridians will STILL be working for our Republic in 20212!! :)
If there was such an honor as Freeper of the Year, you'd be my premier candidate because of your inexhaustible conservative activism and your unflagging patriotic spirit.
Leni
I don't live in a flood zone but a Republican and the tea party is fixing to SOAK me good. KILL THIS INCREASE. Sorry, tea partiers, are you with Citizens Property Insurance or with the property tax payers/homeowners??????
What's the tea party got to gain from Citizens? What's the back story?
Tea party, jump in lake (figuratively.)
I think I’ve visited DU twice for a total of 2 minutes. I can’t stomach it. Thanks for the bump. I am forever greatful for FR and the activity of Florida Freepers!
Let’s keep Japan in our prayers..
“and continued in Pinellas County Florida from 1969 through 2006”
I graduated from Clearwater High in ‘89. :o)
Amen to that!
Ditto that! bttt
the left looks at people as color , religion etc, they just can’t help themselves.
To hear these idiots harp on about diversity is pathetic.
People are people and should be looked as such, where as they have to put people into groups .
I remember one dumb college girl saying my town was not diverse and I asked her what does she mean.
She replied that the town was mostly white, no muslims, hardly any blacks virtually no Hispanics etc.
I said I had not noticed as I only look at people as people and never put them into groups.
She then tried to backtrack and state she does not but when I questioned her further about what she said and she did not say anything and just went red in the face and then pointed out had a point and she felt bad by doing what she had done and said.
Look at their comments, comments as they got them form the labor pool for the day, they paid for them to be there, they must have been sitting there and got surrounded
They just don’t have the brains to actually think that people can think for themselves and that they do not have to do what others tell them.
Thanks for spotlighting this! I hadn't heard that it was still being pushed.
I used to have coffee mornings with a group of veteran retirees - mostly FDR Dems. When I told them that they had no Constitutional right to vote for President they were dumbfounded. People are so uninformed. They tried to object that the evidence was overwhelmingly in favor of a popularly elected Prez.
I responded 'Yes... because each state constitution calls for a group of electors to be selected by popular vote. This was, of course, the big lie in the 2000 election fight here in Florida. In truth, the Fla Legislature could have named a group of electors perfectly Constitutionally at any time... but, as usual, the 'Rats tried to get their corrupt judges to do their dirty work. The U.S. Supreme Court had to back the Fla Legislature because the US Constitution says that those legislatures will singularly determine how to select a group of electors.
This move to eliminate the Electoral College signals the death knell of the Republic if it succeeds; sparsely populated states will not see any campaigning, and they need not take the time from work or drinking or whatever to cast their vote... the big cities will determine the Prez from then on.
It is worth noting that the small states [at that time Rhode Island, Delaware, etc.] would not have ratified the Constitution without the Electoral College... they knew that their populace would have no say in choosing the federal executive and that the 'big' states would dictate to the smaller states against their will or power to do anything about it.
Socialists / Communists always want a 'democracy' so that the mob will rule... all socialist states have called themselves 'democratic republics'... and, of course, the 'mob' is whoever has the biggest stick.
The Democrap Party has been successfully overthrowing the Constitution for over fifty years. We must not let them continue... and their judges should be impeached. They legalize treason, corruption, elitism, infanticide, pornography ... well, name your poison and the Democraps are in favor of it. Look just this week how they attack Cong. Peter King for trying to find out about militancy in America's mosques, to try to stop the wanton killing of Americans from within... same party that opposes saving the Union from financial ruin.
I simply cannot understand why anyone who gives a flip about the US can vote for 'Rats.
