"In fact, babesiosis is one of a raft of under-the-radar tick diseases spreading across the United States.

"We've seen pretty dramatic increases," says Jennifer McQuiston, an epidemiology team leader in the vector-borne disease division of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta."

Disease ridden illegals will only serve to EXACERBATE the problem.

Y'all better hope the M.D. you select is wary and cognizant of the tick borne diseases. There is one M.D. in this area that worked the ER for years and now has a practice in the area that is always on the lookout for the tick borne diseases. He was confronted with several cases with RMSF in the later stages and two that passed away within hours of presentation. The ones that were lost had been seen by physicians that missed the disease entirely. If you get bitten by a tick and get sick, this is part of the history that is quite important to relay to your attending physician. Even if you handle a tick and get the blood on your fingers, the disease can be transmitted. A tick can pass one of the diseases within twenty minutes after biting the victim. Common thought until about a year ago was the tick had to be in contact for four hours or more. Not anymore, that has been proven to be a fallacy.

antibiotics work for humans, too. But it’s easiest to cure the quicker you start taking them. I went 5 years, lots of drs. so I’m having a hard time getting rid of the lyme disease now.....but at least I’m not bedridden.

Reading this article made me think of folks claiming that they have or know someone with chronic Lyme disease. I would rule out other Tick borne illnesses first. They all can cause vague, flu like symptoms. As mentioned in the article, Babesiosis can also be acquired from blood transfusions as the parasite is inside red blood cells.

Blast all deer. There are so many deer roaming around that they must contribute to the spread of these diseases. Yet...people seem to go wet-eyed over deer. Go figure.

Again, the nutrition doctors were way ahead of the game. I remember a doctor was a guest on the Atkins’ radio show and warned us about the spread of: Lyme, Babesiosis and Erlickiosis.
