If Donald Trump's goal is to differentiate himself from those jelly-kneed Republican candidates too timid to ask even the most basic questions about President Barack Obama's origins, he is doing a bang-up job of it.

Wednesday morning on The View, Trump refused to buckle under the hectoring protests of the View panelists and even Whoopi Goldberg's shameless race baiting. "I want [Obama] to show his birth certificate!" said Trump defiantly, adding with a knowing edge, "There's something on that birth certificate that he doesn't like."
Here, Trump made precisely the right point. It is not that Obama was born in Kenya, but rather that there may very well be something on that certificate that does not square with the official Obama origins story, the one on which Obama based his political ascendancy.
In researching my book Deconstructing Obama, I found much that did match the accepted nativity story, most dramatically the fact that the storied Obama family never lived together. Indeed, there never was an Obama family save in the pages of Obama's often apocryphal memoir, Dreams from My Father.
When asked whether he could defeat Obama in 2012, Trump answered, "I think if I run and win and get the nomination, I definitely think I could beat Obama." If he sticks to his guns, he just might.

yeah The Hair did a good job but imho he’s not presidential material. His work ethic is documented,too, but he does have a bc. I would hope thru all of The Don’s torch bearing with the public persona that he is ; would raise the consciousness of Americans who are asleep on the issue and the truth will come out.
If The Don fails to bring light to the bc issue, i’m not dishearted. There are others in the background who are waiting to come forward.

I saw the interview on “The View” and i’ve Hannity discuss the issue.
The ONE THING that NO ONE brings up is the fact the ‘bamster’s PaPa/Daddy/Daddy-O from Kenya and that country being under effin’ Crown Rule / English Monarchy, etc...
Whether these people in the MSM are parsing their words with caution or what I truly don’t know but it’s a known fact IF BObama,Sr. from Kenya was really his Pop then something really has to give here......... This one fact alone cannot be ignored ;Junior ain’t qualified
That is something that very few seem to grasp. Or maybe don’t WANT to grasp, because the NBC and parentage questions lead researchers to a couple of prominent young Republican hopefuls.
I believe that what is good for the goose is good for the gander even if it means the spotlight shining on Bobby Jindal or Marco Rubio.
Both were born in 1971. Jindal’s parents were clearly Indian citizens at the time. Rubio’s may or may not have been US citizens at the time. I haven’t been able to determine the facts.
I love Marco but we need to be consistent constitutionalists and not mere hacks like the Obamanoids.
Ya i know what you mean,i learned about” Natural born “because i married and had a son while in germany.My wife just got her citzenship 3 years ago lol.we got married in 87 had son in 88.We went through hell at the consulate.all the forms appts etc.That was just to get her here in amreica.There has to be a paper trail if so,and a long one.
I am very happy that Trump is dragging this issue into the light of day and forcing people to look at it, but...
I really have a big problem wrapping my mind around the idea of Trump as a Presidential candidate. He would be better than Obama, obviously. He’s not afraid of hard work and Lord knows he knows how to choose staff and make decisions, but as President?
Character issues alone make me shudder.

Personally, I think the entire GOP field is less than stellar. They all have their issues, IMHO. The best we can hope for from them at this point is that they dig into the issues and make the people aware of all the corruption and stealth that has gone on under Obama.
In that way, we’ll have a lively debate season and someone will emerge.

This will be like Kerry running against Bush on Bush’s AWOL incident. Noone really care about Bush’s history anymore, because we already know how Bush will govern as president for the past 4 years

If you’ll recall, that DUI story broke just a few days before the election. It hurt Bush a little, and the Kerry jerks thought that would be enough. It wasn’t but the election was closer than it should have been.
Kerry was/is truly creepy. His relative success in ‘04 must encourage other charisma-challenged politicians.
I really like Rubio, & Jindal ain't bad either. But if either runs for President, I expect proof of eligibility, because though the Pubs have been AWOL on this issue, I assure you the RATS would raise the issue of eligibility & attempt to remove either Rubio or Jindal from the Presidency.
