New landscape I'm working on.

Just thought I'd post a few images of a landscape I am currently working on. Still a work in progress. This is oil on canvas size is 24x30. Pure imagination. Title for now is "A Great Adventure." If you would like to see more of my work. here is my art website. Comments are always appreciated and I considered and value honest criticism. I've only begun adding bark, color and detail to foreground. Will be adding leaves and so forth. Overall, the painting is about 50% complete. Thanks.

Cool. I like it. I am thinking of going back to school and get my Art Therapy degree. Now I am going to paint tomorrow. I am going to do something for Mom’s dining room. A watercolor.

Gorgeous! What incredible talent you have. Thank you for sharing.

Is it a “real” place? It reminds me a lot of the area around South Park, Colorado.

Here is a photo of the Kenosha Pass to give you an idea of the area: http://www.baileylodge.com/kenosha_pass.htm

No, not a real area. This is out of my imagination. I plan on making more works where I will be creating sets and using models and so forth so, this is a step in the direction since some of the backgrounds to some future paintings will be created/included into the sets.

Very nice, but I think you should add a cow or a wildebeest or giant sloth or something.

Nice work as always.

I'm digital and tend to go a little further afield for my landscapes.

I love your work. I’ve been to your website before. This landscape is striking - love the curvature and the sky. I haven’t painted in a long time.
