He got goodies for political fights that may garner him votes in the future from Democrats but there aren’t that many that are persuadable with facts.
All I can say is, we need a big big big cut for 2012, I like what I am hearing in the GOP Budget Proposals.

This morning I admitted to her she was right and she could say "I Told You So".
She said she knew there would be no change because even though people say we have to change, nobody, absolutely nobody, wants change. We are afraid of change, we hate change, we do not want change. The only reason politicians get elected promising change is because everybody says we want change even though that is the biggest lie in the world.
I am sorry for doubting her, she is much wiser than me.

But really what can we expect. The Republican only control the house. For us to do any major budget cuts we have to control all three Branches of Congress and last time I checked we did not.
So everyone says shut it down. Really how far you think that will work. Eventually they will have to reopen the Govt. Then what the “Tea Party” cannot force the Senate to pass or the Prez to sign.
Lets be thankful it is a least a step in the right direction and work on getting a majority in the Senate and Prez in 2012.

It was just a CR. No one really expected real cuts from the CR. If you did, please take this moment to educate yourself on the budget process before throwing stones. It would be like asking your spouse to cut your total household budget by 20% using the cost of one meal. It won’t work, even if the one meal is Thanksgiving.
The 2012 budget is up next. That’s the real show.
