So everyone says shut it down. Really how far you think that will work. Eventually they will have to reopen the Govt. Then what the “Tea Party” cannot force the Senate to pass or the Prez to sign.

So why can't they pass a budget stating explicitly to fund the prisons, the military, and such items? Then shut the rest of the mess down, completely.

Boehner, is that U?

People venting because they want spending cuts now. Hell some people thought you should have even delayed working on last year’s budget till next year’s budget was in place so that you could get the spending cuts we need to save the country in place.

Can’t you understand that?

BECAUSE. The Democratic Senators would see the ruse and NOT sign. Then What back to shut down.

All three branches have to sign or nothing gets passed.

Check your math, $1.603 trillion minus $38 billion equal $1.565 trillion. Not great but an order of magnitude better than you statement.

And to make you scream more-
The estimate to rebuild Japan after the Earthquake/Tsunami/Nuclear Disaster is only $180 Billion. 1/500th (approx) that amount.

Just a little perspective.

Thanks for putting it in perspective. A lot of people not only don’t know, but don’t want to know how bad it is. Pretending we’re okay and can sustain anything resembling current spending, borrowing, printing and other fiscally disastrous policies is for Dems. Conservatives should acknowledge the crisis can’t responsibly be kicked down the alley any further; the time to fix it should be now.

At this rate, they’ll eliminate the deficits by 2867 budget.

Actually, they are still going in the other direction, the deficit is still growing, they just slowed that rate by a fraction of a fraction.

[Nothing will be fixed until it all comes crashing down. The Big Crash is inevitable. The math is inexorable. The politicians will do nothing to stop it — they are too busy rearranging the deck chairs.]

Best to prepare for the crash and have a plan to “isolate” all these representatives and the puppet masters from what’s left of society so they cannot have ANY influence on further decisions.

Yeah, and people want medicare now, medicade now, retirement now . . . wake up.

Go to youtube. Search for “Brooks, Marcus on ‘Absurdity’ of Shutdown Debates, Paul Ryan’s Budget Plan.”

Go to 12:10 and listen to the liberal squeal like the pig she is. They *want* to fight over the CR, not the budget. The dems are *screwed* if we move on and they *know* it. Go find the video. Pay attention. Listen.

Very good, thanks for the tip, she was pretty freaked out when it was pointed out that the Dems had to come up with a plan that balanced expenditures to revenue.

Then she had to admit, she is still waiting....lol

Lets be thankful it is a least a step in the right direction and work on getting a majority in the Senate and Prez in 2012.

Sorry, but that wasn't a step, that was just shifting the weight off of our left foot a little ...
