The last time gas prices started to spike, some folks made up stickers with eye-catching slogans that they stuck on the gas pumps.
I think it's time to re-visit that idea.
I can recall when the "smart people" like Rove and McCain counseled against attacking Kerry's war record and status as a hero. They denounced the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth who saved the GOP's sorry ass.
It is about time that we go after Obama's personal narrative where he is most vulnerable. His associations with Ayers, Farakahn, Rev. Wright, ACORN, Frank Marshall Davis, Rezko, etc. were off limits by McCain. We are supposed to believe his autobiography and accept his life story without ever seeing his school records, long form of his birth certificate, etc. He needs to be turned inside out like every other Presidential candidate. He is vulnerable. He can be attacked on both policy and personal issues.
CNN Poll: Quarter doubt Obama was born in U.S.
"The president celebrates his 49th birthday Wednesday. On the same day, a new national poll indicates some Americans continue to doubt the president was born in the United States. According to a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey, more than a quarter of the public have doubts about Obama's citizenship, with 11 percent saying Obama was definitely not born in the United States and another 16 percent saying the president was probably not born in the country.
Forty-two percent of those questioned say they have absolutely no doubts that the president was born in the U.S., while 29-percent say he "probably" was.
Note: Viewed another way, 58 percent have doubts that the President was born in the US. Why not pressure Obama to release the long form of his birth certificate? Even if he was born in the US, there is the very real possibility he is hiding something that could be damaging to him if made known. Once Obama loses his personal credibility, he is finished.
"Not surprisingly, there are big partisan differences, although a majority of Republicans thinks Obama was definitely or probably born here," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. "Eighty-five percent of Democrats say that Obama was definitely or probably born in the U.S., compared to 68 percent of independents and 57 percent of Republicans. Twenty-seven percent of Republicans say he was probably not born here, and another 14 percent of Republicans say he was definitely not born in the U.S."

If there truly is evidence he isn’t eligible for office, it should be held on to until he is OUT of office, and THEN every single thing(everything) he did while president would be nullified instantly!
And if he is reelected for another 4 years? If there is real evidence that he is not eligible to hold the office of the Presidency, he should be removed immediately. It would be insane to allow someone to remain in an office he is ineligible for. The rule of law should obtain.
A couple of years ago, some Dem commented that Obama had spent about a million dollars on the BC. I read another estimate yesterday that he (and the Dem party) had probably spent over $10 million in trying to suppress the issue and eliminate the evidence. So that means, realistically, that they've spent about twice that.
It would cost them about $15 or whatever the filing fee is to present the true birth certificate. There's no way they would be spending millions of dollars to suppress it if they could actually present it for $15.
He celebrates his 49th birthday because Obummer says it’s his 49th birthday...who knows where he was born, when he was born, and to whom he was born. The only thing we know for sure is he is a proven liar, who knows what is the truth?

That's why the media is abusing everyone who asks the question. They want this to go away ...NOW. They created this president for the purpose of being able to push a radical leftist agenda with very little opposition because of his race.
Now, this question just won't go away and their only recourse if to attack anyone who mentions it.
The problem [for them] is that more an more people are beginning to wonder. Not so much where he was born really, but why he won't [or can't] do something to put this to an end.
It is precisely the constitutional rule of law that is at stake.
Here is the problem. In 2004 the Federal government mandated birth certificate standards for the first time - the law was the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004: National Standards for Drivers’ Licenses, Social Security Cards, and Birth Certificates.
In this law the Federal government mandated a minimum set of requirements for birth certificates:
“(b) Standards for Acceptance by Federal Agencies. -
“(1) In general. - Beginning 2 years after the promulgation of minimum standards under paragraph (3), no Federal agency may accept a birth certificate for any official purpose unless the certificate conforms to such standards.
“(A) at a minimum, shall require certification of the birth
certificate by the State or local government custodian of
record that issued the certificate, and shall require the use of safety paper or an alternative, equally secure medium, the seal of the issuing custodian of record, and other features designed to prevent tampering, counterfeiting, or otherwise duplicating the birth certificate for fraudulent purposes;
So Federal law is driving changes in birth certificates. What does the Federal government require as a minimum to be on a birth certificate as proof of citizenship? This:
(a) Primary evidence of birth in the United States. A person born in the United States generally must submit a birth certificate. The birth certificate must show the full name of the applicant, the applicant’s place and date of birth, the full name of the parent(s), and must be signed by the official custodian of birth records, bear the seal of the issuing office, and show a filing date within one year of the date of birth.
Obama’s COLB meets all federal requirements for a birth certificate if it is printed on security paper and stamped/signed by the state. No Federal court would reject it as proof of citizenship.
More to the point, by now in most states when you ask for a birth certificate, you are going to get a form like Obama’s - when my son was born in Virginia that was the only birth certificate we got from the state. The days of “long form” birth certificates with a doctor’s signature is dead.
I don’t think I would go after Obama on the BC. What I would do is attack his 4 years in office as the worst in American history. I would openly call him a Communist and force the MSM to say that Cass Sunstein, Bill Ayers, Van Jones, Susan Powers, George Soros are not Communists.
I would tie every policy of his to one of these people and how it impacted America.
And if we win in 2012 and also get the Senate, first thing on the agenda is to bring the MSM before congress and find out why they hid this for 4 years.

51.45 Department discretion to require evidence of U.S. citizenship or non-citizen nationality.
The Department may require an applicant to provide any evidence that it deems necessary to establish that he or she is a U.S. citizen or non-citizen national, including evidence in addition to the evidence specified in 22 CFR 51.42 through 51.44.
My theory is that the papers show he is a bastard child Legal or not legal. He does not want to be known as the first bastard President of the United States. Just a thought.
Right, and thanks for the very detailed explanation as to why this is now so. But even though we're now in a world that accepts a COLB as satisfactory for most anything, we need to show that one from Hawaii in 1961 is NOT necessarily acceptable proof for being President of the US, as COLB's were apparently granted to those who weren't even born there, so long as the parent was a citizen of Hawaii. Also according to some reports they were may have been given out to those who simply reported the birth, without a legitimate birth certificate from a Hawaii hospital. Once people start focusing, singularly, on the fact that COLB's were legally given to those who weren't even born there, they may even quit accepting them for things other than POTUS.

But there is no other information needed to determine citizenship. Everything he needs is on his COLB.
Your take reminds me of a situation of a man robbing a bank and going on a Bermuda vacation with the loot. The cops know the man, know he did the heist but decide to let him enjoy the loot and time before officially charging the thief. No way should Obama, and his gang, be allowed one hour of spending/wasting USA citizens wealth.
I think that's pretty evident, given the fact that he's allowed this issue to damage him for nearly three years now. He would have shut it down LONG ago, if he had any ability to do so.
I don't trust Donald Trump as far as I can throw him, but I'm very glad that he's provided the air cover for the leading Republican presidential contenders to step out front with the issue.
It's my hope that Trump will beat Obama to a pulp, then gracefully step away from the primary. That is the ideal scene.
The GOP politicans all seem like whipped puppies to me.

I don’t really trust Trump either so I am waiting to see what he does about getting in the race. If he gets in as a Republican and gets in the debates then we can all decide for ourselves about him. The smear machine is really starting to open up on him so he is doing somethng right.
