At the risk of sounding nativist, I really can’t take too seriously someone who’s moved around the globe as much as Zasu to have much of a fix on what Americans think or what they should do. Is Zasu even eligible to vote here?

I agree with the gist of what you’re saying, but it might be and exaggeration to call him a, “major pro-abort gungrabber.” He probably has no deeply felt position on those issues, and will just say whatever is convenient. But I certainly don’t think he’s pro-life or pro-2nd Amendment rights.

Totally agree. None of the candidates put forth by the GOP will step out of the box for fear of what the media will say about them. Trump doesn’t care. Obama was one nasty piece of work in that speech he gave last week. He needs to be answered in the same manner. The POS has a billion dollars and the media in his pocket. You don’t fight that by being Mr. Nice guy.

Obviously there are many people who think that the issue of Obama’s eligibilty is tantamount to preservation of the Constitution. It is hard to say you are for the Constitution when you will ignore the largest Constitutional breach ever.
I don’t see the GOP coming out in support of Trump at all. The GOP knows that if Trump wants to run he can run as long as he meets the requirements. Obama doesn’t have to do that.
We have campaigns, debates and primaries. The candidates will rise or fall on their own merits. This process will probably be the hardest for Trump, not being a politician and all.
In the meantime, he has my blessing to stick it to Obozo. Anything that convinces more people that Obozo is a disaster, an ineligible disaster, is fine with me. It is even better coming from a businessman that people didn’t expect to chime in about Obama.

They (the MSM) has spent the last two years trashing our best candidate and touting anyone THEY think either wouldn’t have a chance or are not what a TRUE conservative would pick to run and its WORKING!
I and many of us here, simply ignore the political hacks and do our own research. The problem is to many people listen to the hacks and base their decisions off the info they get.
Perfect example, my Mother-in-law (Love her bunches as she’s pretty cool) will say that she knows the media is biased but still says Sarah Palin doesn’t have a brain in her head. When I asked her if she’s ever read any of Palin’s articles/comments on Facebook on the current issues she’ll say no. Or when I tell her that in my opinion there isn’t a politician in America that can hold a candle to her on energy policy she’s stunned, that’s not the Sarah Palin she’s heard about. But where does she get her opinion, the media of course. The very source she agrees is biased.
We have a big problem with the media and the political hacks and its an uphill battle all the way. It is made easier with internet access but most people still get their news from the MSM and it’s going to take a long time to wean them away from it.

I really don't care about whether X, Y or Z are upset or not. What I care about is doing my best to ensure that Barack Obama is NOT reelected in 2012.
We need to keep our eyes focused on that final objective and not on the circus sideshows along the way.
Yes, The Donald is "getting all the attention now" but merely "getting attention" is not automatically a good thing for our side and may very well help Obama in the long run.

Although the "Born in Kenya" theory is embraced by 25% of all voters, the other 75% do not buy it.
Once the GOP becomes labeled as the Party that only has candidates that are Reality TV celebrities, with toxic poll numbers, that do nothing but throw red meat to 25% of the electorate, the GOP "jumps the shark" with Independents and Barack Obama is closer to being reelected.
Regardless of where any one of us stands in regards to the "Born in Kenya" theory, we need to know how 75% of all American voters feel about it and deal with it. Just limiting the battle to what YOU believe guarantees defeat.

Expand your attack by covering all possiblities of why Obama wants to hide the long-form.
Change the tactic to "What have you got to hide? Be transparent and show us your long form birth certificate.".
Period. Leave it at that.
Such a tactic does not lend itself to ridicule as does "He was born in (fill in foreign country here)".
You thus change the dynamic from "Birther" to "Hider".
I believe that he was born in Hawaii and is hiding the documentation of an illegitimate birth and is hiding a "white" surname at birth.

* Nobody has ever seen the marriage license or divorce papers of Barack Obama, Sr. and Stanley Anne Dunham. They were probably just "friends with benefits" and not a legally married couple.
* As a result, the long form shows a "Single" mother and a child that may have been originally named "Barry Dunham".
* As a result, the release of the long form would be highly embarrassing to Obama as it would blow the entire "Dreams from My Father" mythology out of the water.
* As a result, Obama's lawyers have argued in Court that release of the long-form would be "embarrassing" and the Judge has agreed.
* Privacy laws give Obama the legal right to refuse the release of the long-form document and information on it other than "he was born here". Thus, Hawaii officials can see a long-form, see all the embarrasing detail, but, by law, are only allowed to say. "He was born here but I can say no more or show you any more".
The bottom line is that, to win, you cannot just limit yourself to thinking the way that you think. You have to also consider how the others think and tailor your tactics accordingly.

Being "normal" and being a "fighter" are two totally different variables in the equation and one has absolutely nothing to do with the other. The two separate variables yield the four following possiblities.
1.) Normal fighter
2.) Normal wimp.
3.) Abnormal fighter
4.) Abnormal wimp

What the GOP needs to defeat Obama is a "fighter" who does not have "abnormal" poll numbers that are lower than whale scat at the bottom of the ocean.

Unfortunately, too many people are interested more in emotional satisfaction than in winning. Some lawyers use the facts and arguments that are most persuasive to other people, and push those. Others lawyers just look at the arguments convincing to them, and try to beat everyone else over the head with them.
