The left will, continuously, make fun of that: “Look at all of those rednecks who can’t spell “can”!”.
Love that sticker!!!
Woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!
Cain is the Duncan Hunter of 2012.
The Hermanator rocks!
I don’t think that at all. He fits the tea party mold perfectly. Just like the new Senator Johnson in Wisconsin and other businessmen, doctors, etc, people are stepping up to serve their country.
If anyone, Bachmann is the Hunter of 2012 if anyone. The House is no springboard to the White House. If Palin is out, she’ll pull a lot of folks like us, but will not resonate with the voters as a whole.
Do I think Cain is likely. No, but he could catch fire in the absence of any governors who step up and gain traction.
If we dont rally behind a good conservative soon, well be stuck with another rino.
Four years ago, here on Freerepublic, there was a lot of enthusiasm for Duncan Hunter. Some wanted Fred Thompson. Others liked Huckabee.
Nobody at FR wanted McCain.
Yet, thats who we were stuck with.
I see us doing the same thing this year: Theres a lot of enthusiasm for Herman Cain and Allen West. Some want Michelle Bachman. Others like Huckabee, or Sarah Palin.
It is my suggestion that we wait until May 15th allowing all candidates plenty of time to announce.
Then we should have an online debate for one week as to which candidates we like best AND which candidates have the best chance of winning!
We vote via an online poll open to FRiends who have been here at least 18 months. (Sorry newbies & trolls)
Whichever conservative wins the FR poll, we should ALL rally behind giving that candidate a solid jumpstart over the other conservatives & RINOs.
If conservatives remain divided well end up with a Romney or Trump...guaranteed.
