Chinese spies are becoming the legacy of the Obama Administration

Last week brought yet another reminder of the deceitfulness of the Chinese Communists. The people Barack Obama has entrusted the fate of our nation to are stealing the design secrets of what is left of our auto manufacturing base. And all the while Obama is burrowing more and more money from our “friends” in Beijing.

A legal Chinese alien who worked for Ford from 1997 to 2007 was sentenced to 70 months in federal prison and ordered to pay a $12,500 fine upon his guilty plea to two counts of stealing trade secrets from his American employer during the decade he worked for them as a design specialist.

“Mike” Yu was taken into custody at Chicago’s O’Hare airport when it was determined that he had copied 4,000 Ford design documents describing engine-transmission and electric power supply systems. Immediately after leaving Ford Yu joined Beijing Automotive Industry Corporation.

Last summer a Chinese couple was caught stealing hybrid engine secrets from General Motors when they attempted to sell them to a Chinese auto maker. That General Motors is jointly owned by the Obama Administration and the United Auto Workers Union can not be overlooked in this case.

With the estimated value of the data in question being $40 million at face value and many times that in potential worth to whomever possesses it, questions about why it would be so easy to steal this information have to be asked.

What security procedures are or were in place that made stealing this information so easy? Who was in charge of safeguarding this data? Who hired these people and why were they hired? Are there no loyal Americans who could have filled their positions?

The number of similar spying episodes involving Chinese operatives is alarming and growing……

It is hard to believe Obama isn't selling us out on this issue of industrial spying by the Chinese.

A couple of suitcases full of $100 bills to the Democrats and you can have anything you want. NASA is going out of business after Clinton/Gore sold their secrets to the Chinese.

“the design secrets of what is left of our auto manufacturing base.” That’s more likely to hurt them than to help!

This started under Bubba’s watch.

The funny thing is that Ron Brown was about to sing Pagliacci about it to congress after they issued him a subpoena.

Poor Ron was on that plane that went down in the Balkans and found outside the wreckage with a .45 cal-sized hole in his head.
