"This week Glenn Beck has taken to his radio show to attack me as a Progressive, which he has said is the same as a cancer and a Nazi, Huckabee, the former Arkansas governor whose battles with his own weight are well known, wrote on his HuckPAC website. What did I do that apparently caused him to link me to a fatal disease and a form of government that murdered millions of innocent Jews?
"I had the audacity not of hope but the audacity to give respect to the efforts of First Lady Michelle Obamas Lets Move campaign to address childhood obesity, Huckabee fumed. Im no fan of her husbands policies for sure, but I have appreciated her efforts that Beck misrepresented either out of ignorance or out of a deliberate attempt to distort them to create yet another boogey man hiding in the closet that he and only he can see. The First Ladys approach is about personal responsibility not the government literally taking candy from a babys mouth. He seems to fancy himself a prophet of sorts for his linking so many people and events together to describe a massive global conspiracy for pretty much everything.

This woman needs to embrace and celebrate true diversity.
Maybe the title should be rewritten. There is absolutely nothing skinny relating to Mike Huckabee.
You decided that because you are a fatso, you need to control others lives and practices. If you don't see that Huckster, you are as big a Progressive as we all see you as. By the way. Your record as AR Gov also shows a love of Gov't solutions.
Apparently you can get fat on so called healthy foods too, Huckster, as you have demonstrated.
"Happy Easter" and "Butt Out" to them and the horses they rode in on.
If Huck was hoping to use his radio spot to become as trusted and beloved a figure as, say, Paul Harvey, I’d say today’s pretty much torpedoed that goal. He came across as petty and shrill.
Downright snippy ain’t he?
Is there anything skinny relating to Glen Beck or am I confusing him with Rush?
Huck is a progressive.
Let’s move haga
RINO Romney could say that MO was the smartest woman since sliced bread
and Beck would say “Yes master she is”
and would have her on his show to tell us about her anti-fat plans.....
(suddenly MO would be the model for conservatism)
So when is Glennie going to endorse Romney ???
Mike Huckabee about Beck
“His ridiculous claim that John McCain and I collaborated and conspired in the 2008 campaign is especially laughable
Beck needs to stick to conspiracies that can’t be so easily de-bunked by facts.”

Straight out of the Romney Rule Book of excuses why Mitt didnt win the GOP nomination
Its Bushs fault ...errr...Huckabees fault
Its the south
Its the bigots
No it was Romneys 40 years of blatant liberalism
Baloney, Huckabee is no rino liberal. That’s just pure crap.
Contrary to the false smears against him Huck would not have been a “tax-hiker”. Instead, he did his best to promote the Fair Tax in the 2008 Republican primary. Huckabee wanted to abolish the Federal income tax, not raise it.
On foreign policy, Huckabee was the only Republican candidate to vigorously oppose the Bush “two-state non-solution “Roadmap” policy. A horrible foreign policy devised by Bush to impose a “Palestinian” state in Israel’s own land of Judea and Samaria. In that regard, Bush paved the way for Obama. As Obama has continued that horrible policy of pressuring Israel to make appeasement to the Islamists.
All the other GOP candidates, including Fred Thompson, supported the Bush Roadmap-Phased Plan. This was a major reason why I supported Huckabee in the 2008 primary.
Huckabee also advocated an enforcement plan to secure the border, stop illegal immigration, and not allow amnesty for illegal aliens based on studies done by Mark Krikorian.
It was called the “Secure America Plan”.
Beck has hated Huckabee ever since his question to a NYT reporter, “Don’t Mormons believe that Jesus and Satan are brothers”?
In that matter, both Romney and Beck responded like a couple of enraged Islamic ayatollahs.
If you take issue with Islamic doctrine you are accused of being an anti-Muslim bigot.
If you take issue with certain Catholic teachings as being un-Biblical, you are accused of being an anti-Catholic bigot.
If you dare put a spotlight on the un-Biblical doctrines of Mormonism, you are accused of being an anti-Mormon bigot.
That fact is that Huckabee probably did a good thing in that he helped, even if unintentional, in calling public attention to an official Mormon teaching that helped exposed Mormonism for what it is:
A false counterfeit Christian cult religion.
Don’t think Huck is going to run this time around.
Hope he doesn’t because I would like to see everyone rally behind Sarah Palin. Assuming that she does run.
My dream ticket would be Palin/West.
I agree with Joe Farah of WND. I have some differences of opinion with Mike Huckabee. But he’s not a monster. He’s not a wolf in sheeps clothing. But Romney is.
