Well, once again, another key Obama administration official got caught not paying his taxes. This time it was US Attorney General Eric Holder. Holder along with his brother failed to pay property taxes on their childhood home in Queens New York, which they inherited last August when their mother passed away.
Youd think these chumps would have learned their lesson about taxes by now. But no, paying their own taxes isnt a priority for the Obammunists. Theyre far more worried about we little people paying up. But themselves? Fuggedaboutit.
The Holders did finally cough up the bucks when the New York Post confronted them about it. Great! Apparently Marxists will pay their taxes, but only if the press makes them.
A spokesman said the brothers werent aware of the initial missed payments, which happened in the last months of their mothers life when she was battling illness.
Fine. But what about the subsequent payments missed by the Holder estate? The spokesman had an excuse for that one too: the subsequent unpaid taxes occurred during a time period in which the disposition of the estate is still being resolved. Really? In other words, more taxes came due while the Holder estate was responsible for paying them, but it didnt pay them.
Even that buffoon Robert Gibbs could have come up with a better excuse than that one. When I settled my dads estate no one cut me any slack on paying bills and taxes, and I certainly didnt have a spokesman to dole out lame excuses just in case I was so unconcerned that I failed to render unto Caesar. But then again, Im just one of the little people.

I think this is different though... who was the administrator of her estate? They’d be required to pay taxes post death until distribution. If Holder was the administrator that might be one thing but it doesn’t say anything here..... this isn’t nearly as bad as say Geihtner (the man who formulates tax regulations no less)’s tax cheating
Make them pay taxes and Social Security like the rest of us and they will change their tune.
I agree 100% but all I am saying is that when property is in an estate the taxes are incurred by the estate and not the beneficiaries. The administrator must pay out of estate funds OR if there is insufficient funds in the estate abate the legacies accordingly. Thus, unless I am reading the story incorrectly, since these property taxes were incurred after the death of Holder’s mom but before distribution of assets they were the responsibility of the administrator and unless Holder was the administrator (a fact not given) he had no obligation to pay the taxes. Conversely, if some of the taxes were incurred after distribution or if he was the the administrator and failed to pay the taxes then he may be responsible for them. The fact seem to indicate the former fact, however, and not the latter.

Actually, the original reports were quite clear that some of the taxes accumulated AFTER Holder was estate administrator and in fact the spokesman’s statement implies that.
I stand corrected then.
