"There are also several other verses that demonstrate that the vast majority of mankind is to be saved."

On the one hand there's this--"After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” Rev 7:9-10

On the other hand there's this--"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."

Graham tells him what he believes the Scripture means, and Ted Baxter gets angry at him—???

That’s senseless.

C S Lewis discusses this exact dilemma in his novel, "The Great Divorce".

Mind you, being an atheist I don't believe a word of it...but it is generally considered to be a good explanation of the doctrine in question, so you may want to peruse it. I found it quite enjoyable myself.

I wonder if it would stoke Bill’s outrage to learn (because I doubt he knows) that people who believe as you believe, as Rev. Graham believes, and as I believe, are under the anathema of the Catholic Church. Rome hates free grace ao much they would consign us to Hell because we believe in Christ alone through grace alone!

“At the Council of Trent (1545-1563), the declarations of which are still in force, the Roman Catholic Church formally condemned the biblical doctrine of faith alone and grace alone. Consider the following declarations of Trent:

“If anyone says that justifying faith is nothing else than confidence in divine mercy, which remits sins for Christ’s sake, or that it is this confidence alone that justifies us, LET HIM BE ANATHEMA” (Sixth Session, Canons Concerning Justification, Canon 12).

“If anyone says that the justice received is not preserved and also not increased before God through good works, but that those works are merely the fruits and signs of justification obtained, but not the cause of its increase, LET HIM BE ANATHEMA” (Sixth Session, Canons Concerning Justification, Canon 24).

Paul addresses your objections in Roman chapter 8

13As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. (is that “fair” or “compassionate” to Esau? - Persevero)

14What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.

15For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

16So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

17For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.

18Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

19Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?

20Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?

21Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

22What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

23And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

24Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?”

To answer a couple of questions regarding those who die without accepting Christ, The only way to salvation and eternal life) that troubles believers regarding people who have had no one tell them of Him, read Romans 1:18-20.

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God, is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. (20) For since creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.

Psalm 19:1-6 "The heavens declare the glory of God.......There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard." This would seem to tell us that no one, regardless of who, where or when, is without the knowledge of God to be believed or not.

Take Abraham, Genesis 15:6 "And he (Abraham) believed in the Lord and He accounted it to him for righteousness." By "believing in the Lord," and acting on that belief, Abraham was "accounted righteous" by God. (Pre-Christ grace by God for "believers.")

Wow. Thirty posts before someone literate actually quoted the Bible. Of course, you stopped short:

“Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.) This will take place on the day when God will judge men’s secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.”

I think that’s where some get the idea that those who “don’t have the law” have a righteousness apart from the law (of which Jesus was the fulfillment).

"There are also several other verses that demonstrate that the vast majority of mankind is to be saved. Only those that actually want to fight against God are going into the lake of fire."

What then to make of Matthew 7:13 & 14, "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."

Once you have committed the first tiny sin, you are damned to hell if you don’t accept Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

I don’t make the news, I just tell it.

That is categorically false according to Scripture.

1 John 5:16-17 NKJV
16 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. 17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.

The exclusivity of the Gospel is something that bothers me, but I am not going to second guess God. It is clear Jesus is the only way.
You are correct there are versus that say if you have heard yet reject, so the question is what if you have never heard but then we are commanded to go into all the world to tell the Good News and in the Psalms says the Heavens declare the Glory of God.
What I know for a certainty is that I am Saved and the certainty that God wants no one to parish but Jesus is still the only way.
