Twisted Zakaria compares Genocidal “Palestinians” [Hamas] to IRA

He just spinned on CNN, about his anti Israel column in the lefty ‘Washington Post’ (damning Netanyah, who was cheered at in Congress) answering to Elliot Spitzer (The Arena) about Israel's reservation not to negotiate with the Palestinian Arabs that have just joined “unity” Fatah-Hamas, as Hamas is a terrorist organization committed to violence, Fareed’s answer was, so was the IRA...
Not mentioning the vast difference between a small group of terror VS the Palestinians who are committed to annihilation of Jews under Islamic banner and under Arabism, from the Mufti in the 1920s through Arafat and through Hamas’ on declarations.

There are people dying and wounded when bombs go off no matter who sets them off. Beyond that sadness, the Palestinians are a completely different breed of cat from the IRA.

I totally agree.

The intended creation of a blurry picture between violence (as horrific as it is) to someone committed to total annihilation is a usual anti-Israel bigoted trick.

Sorry, the only differences between the two are scale and goal.

As much as I despise Hamas, I’m not about to jump on a bandwagon to defend IRA terrorism.

Fareed is confused, of course there is no comparison between a violent group as bad as they are- and body committed to Mass massacre to butcher as many as possible, the clear goals of Islamists to “wipe off” 6,000,000 Jews is another “planet” of crimes against humanity.

The differances are
- The IRA’s attacks were mostly aimed at military, police or paramilitary targets. There were many exceptions. Hamas’s attacks are aimed at anybody and everybody, including other Palestinians.
- IRA communiques usually regretted the killing of innocent bystanders. Hamas rejoices in the killing of innocent bystanders.
- IRA political suicides were hunger strikes of prisoners. Hamas tries to take as many innocents as possible in suicide bombings.
-The IRA are Irishman while Hamas is Arab. Thus the IRA was more competent in what they do.
-The IRA has better songs than Hamas.

The IRA members claimed they came to Columbia to "observe the peace process" but they didn't explain why they each required a bogus passport and an alias to do so.

A month after the IRA members were arrested after their visit where they trained FARC terrorists, FARC's leader called for attacks on targets in the United States.

Note that by this time IRA-style bombs were being found in Palestinian hands in attacks against Israel.

The IRA also has connections to the PFLP, a palestinian terrorist group supported by Saddam Hussein's regime as well as Libya.

Interesting links between IRA and Palestinian terrorists. BTW PFLP has a special “love affair” with children... to target at them, (examples include) as in Kiryat Shmona in the 1970s and as slashing baby’s throat in Itamar in March (2011)...
