I agree that all foreign aid should end. In so far as ROnPaul does not want Israel destroyed, I suppose he is a Zionist. However, Ron Paul is no friend of Israel. He reflexively supports Israel’s enemies every time Israel launches a major operation.

I don’t know Ron Paul’s record on this well - the original poster seemed to have lots of information on this in support of him, and others on here have strong opinions against him, but I haven’t seen much of their information. The OP was banned - I think from re-posting threads that were taken down for lack of a link to an acceptable site, and according to most people here on this thread, for having a history of doing things like that.
I can’t speak for the motives of the original poster, but I would guess that by calling them Zionists he meant to strongly counter that they were anti-Israel or anti-Jewish, which I’ve often seen alleged here (entirely of Ron Paul until the other day, please see below), rather than that they were actual Zionists. That’s how I saw it, anyway. I wouldn’t have agreed that their stances made them Zionist, just that they both are non-interventionist in general, in keeping with things like George Washington’s address to the nation at the end of his two terms as president, not specific to Israel, and not with hostility toward Israel.
Others here would have better information on Ron Paul’s statements on Israel than I would, and I’m not familiar with Rand Paul’s beyond the general non-interventionist policy I’ve mentioned, though the other day here someone criticized him for not attending Netanyahu’s speech to Congress, which I haven’t seen much more on.
Paul makes a good argument that all federal spending should be earmarked - i.e. all funds allocated should be for a specific, defined purpose.
Regardless, I'm sure you, me and him all agree that fed spending is grossly out of control and needs to be drastically reduced.

My post was really sarcasm directed at those who try to smear Dr. Paul by saying he's anti-semitic. I enjoy seeing those pics when you post them. Must really piss off the anti-Paul crowd - keep posting!
It's no wonder Paul and Reagan were close at one time - Reagan campaigned on a very good platform of smaller, less intrusive gov't. That's why I was so disappointed in him, and became so disillusioned with the political process... he showed that a politician doesn't even have to be lying when he campaigns one way and governs in a completely opposite manner.
I think Reagan truly believed in his small-gov't message but just took the easy route. He decided that it was easier to give in to the left on one issue to get his way on another. As a result, he just slowed the downhill course the nation had been on for decades, when he should have been attempting to reverse it.

You had the appearance of being disingenuous, as if those missing posts were to be imagined by people who didn’t get to read them as vulgar, inflammatory things the original poster said, rather than things you said. And it seemed to me that some of your consistently bringing it to the low level you did was a major contributing part to this.
