Ask Matt Labash: An apology to Sarah Palin, and nature vs. nurture (Goodbye Daily Caller)
Dailly Caller ^ | 05/31/2011 | Matt Labash

Posted on 05/30/2011 10:24:32 PM PDT by Rational Thought

When I disparaged you before, I didn’t take into account what you mean to the people of Alaska, where despite your approval rating being around 36 percent, many would follow you to Scottsdale, Arizona, where you might be moving away from them. Nor did I consider what you mean to this country. So that it makes sense that you would tour it by riding across it in a bus. Probably in the front of the bus. Just like Rosa Parks. Because you’re kind of like a white Rosa Parks. Except you’ve taken it so far beyond what Ms. Parks ever dreamed of. Because she just rode the bus. But you own the bus. Or at least lease it. So that riffraff like Rosa won’t try to hog all the seats/attention.

snip

So I look forward to seeing you turn up in historical hotspots, like maybe colonial Williamsburg, which, as students of history like you know, is the place where you can take really cool tourist photos of Todd’s face in the stockade. That would be a hoot. Or maybe you could visit the historic Medieval Times in Baltimore, where Francis Scott Key famously composed “The Star Spangled Banner” while jousting for a tankard of mead. Wherever you go, I won’t be there physically. Gas is four bucks a gallon, and there’s no time, besides. I’ll be too busy fashioning my Palin hair-doll shrine which I hope to exhibit at your nominating convention. (I bought a lock of it from Brandon — he’s a collector.) But as Third Day so eloquently sang in your reality show theme song, I will, in spirit, “follow you there.” In fact, as your old patron once said of Osama bin Laden, I would follow you to the gates of hell, which is where I suspect your campaign is headed, if you ever formally launch one in between publicity tours. So here’s hoping all’s forgiven.

Your vassal, ML

More (if you must) at the link.

I have posted stories from The DC since it's inception. I've had email exchanges with another writer there regarding his mistated facts, which he did update admitting was an error in reporting. I wrote off the sloppy reporting as growing pains.

Now in the past few weeks, I've seen (and I'm not alone) this entire site turning turning into a support site for RINO's. The most recent BREAKING NEWS was a story exposing the private tweets and emails of Palin spokesperson Rebecca Mansour. Problem was, the "story had been shopped around for at least two months (perhaps up to a year) and no one saw much to it. That BREAKING NEWS sure didn't last long.

This latest crap is this post from a 32 year old "Senior" writer from the Weekly Standard.

Obviously, The Daily Caller is no longer a Conservative site or a site for Conservatives. If I wanted this kind of drivel, I could subscribe to the NY Times.

Since the Daily Caller has chosen it's path and is no longer a Conservative site, I won't post their crap. Heck, I won't even hit their site.

You know, maybe I should have taken Don Imus more seriously.

It seems a time when RINO’s are exposing themselves.

Pardon my typo's in the original post. Sometimes my mind doesn't coordinate perfectly with my fingers on my keyboard.

“Matt Labash of The Weekly Standard is consistently one of the best magazine writers in the country,” David Brooks, editorial columnist for The New York Times wrote in his December 25, 2007 column. Brooks named Labash as one of the winners of the “Sidney Awards” — the columnist’s annual naming of the articles he considers the best of the year.”

Ahhhhhhhhhhh. The dim leading the dim.

I noticed this, too, about the DC. It started smelling funny maybe a month ago, which surprised me, because I had found some decent articles there in the past. C’est la vie.

If the state-controlled media/Democrat cartel actually believed that Sarah Palin was unelectable, they'd be begging the GOP to nominate her.

ineluctable

Official Matt Labash undergarment. Guaranteed to prevent wadding up at the mention of Sarah Palin.

Available at The Daily Caller Store. Yes, there actually is one.

Fall of 2008 is when Sarah Palin became the litmus test for Conservatism. Politics have become a lot clearer for me.

Snarky, juvenile jackass.

It should take more than a passing grade in English to headline the news.

Personally, I give Matt Labash credit.

At least, in his effort to garner attention, he didn't resort to calling Sarah Palin a slut.

Other than that, his column reads like an Ed Schultz screed.

I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that the Dems/RINOS (yes, in collusion) have been preparing for Palin’s announcement for some time now and a few of them aren’t able to wait until she officially announces before going into ‘last ditch effort to take her out of the running’ mode.

We would be fools to underestimate how much of a threat she represents to the establishment (and to those who want a ‘in’ to it. They are lining themselves up and that just makes them easier to knock down.

This latest crap is this post from a 32 year old "Senior" writer from the Weekly Standard.

He writes like he's only half that age and has hormonal issues. Even if he wasn't suffering from PDS, why bother with a site whose ability levels are so low?

More to it than what’s normal.

But, this is a good thing. Conservatives represent (arguably) the majority of people in this Country. In the past, it hasn’t always been easy to determine who’s on our side and who isn’t. That isn’t a problem any longer.
