As the media swarms over Sarah Palins emails has anyone thought to ask why the personal information of those who wrote emails critical of Palin was not redacted?
Some very ugly things are going to come out of these emails and not against Sarah Palin. Frankly Im very disturbed by her legal teams choices in what Im reading. Sarah Palin and her legal team spent two and half years combing these emails for pages they wanted to withhold and for redactions to protect the privacy of some people. But you want to know whose information they left in?
Any person who wrote to criticize the Governor has their email and phone number out for the Palin cult to attack. Sarah Palin once again used a seeming attack on her (aka, a request for transparency) as an opportunity to turn the guns of her internet vigilantes on her detractors. This is an outrageous compromising of those citizens privacy and safety.
Yes, they are private citizens, not public officials.
Palin doesnt seem engaged at all in legislative process, but spends most of her emails forwarding mean and fawning emails about herself to her minions (the purpose of which Frank Bailey exposed in his book to take down detractors) or emails praising her as Gods chosen. She sent emails during the VP campaign requesting information about her own budgets and positions to such an extent that its easy to get the idea she had no idea what she passed. Its also obvious that the state was not engaged in state activity during the VP campaign, but in management of Palins image.
I feel sorry for those media members who traipsed to Alaska thinking that they were going to get unfettered information. What we are seeing in these emails is an attempt by Palin and the people who were appointed by her and working for her in Alaska to create a narrative of revenge and the victimization of Sarah Palin.
Cry me a river.
“Palin doesnt seem engaged at all in legislative process,...”
Perhaps because she wasn't in the legislative branch. LOL.
If those people didn’t want their information released, they had plenty of time to file for standing and redact it.
My gosh, she’s even smarter than we thought.
Seems I’m hearing that a lot.
It’s amusing to listen to the same scavenging harpies who
swoop down on the least tidbit of Palin going on about
how virulent and hateful her supporters are.
Set trap. wait for it.. wait for it... wait for it...
Crybabys... losers... p*ssies... Bet some people on your subscription list sent some emails... (or maybe our editor did...lol)
Mrs. Palin certainly had no obligation to protect
those who were attacking her...
Maybe they know something?!?!?!?!
I'd release all the death threats Fur Shur. Let people know who's theatening the Governor ~ see what happens to their credit ratings.
“You dood it! You went ahead and throwed me in the brier patch!”
This is Alaska. Cry me a glacier...
Truly awesome. I love it!!!!!
Aww poor babies aren’t getting the dirt they were hoping for.

Nice wording. 8-D
A better wording would be to replace the words “privacy of some people” to “privacy of their client”.
This is really a pathetic attempt to make Palin the bad guy when documents they insisted on the state releasing do finally come out and show info damaging her political enemies.
It is also sweet justice. For a “stupid” person, she sure gets the last laugh a lot. Just sayin’. ;)
It sounds like she is saying that Sarah set a trap and the commie 'RAT maggots fell into it. ROTFL!!!!
If you send an email to the governor of Alaska with your phone number in the email, do you really expect that information to remain private? And if so, to who? The citizenry of Alaska?
Different governors have different styles. As all states require the governor’s assent to put a measure passed by the legislature into law (unless the legislature overrides), the governor can involve himself or herself, and can pull and lobby for certain measures. Maybe this isn’t seen in Palin’s email because she preferred to do it in person.
the liberals are pissed the emails have been released without her asking for redaction or omissions!
Palins attorney never requested that anything be redacted or withheld. As per ABC news. Poor Jason Easley and Sarah Jones. Missed the boat again.

Like Palin did. :)
