Could it be a scheme to sink property values and buy the properties up later on the cheap? I’ve seen schemes like that in a state to the north, along with grand schemes to develop the properties later and other schemes to give the properties to local governments.

I just did a google search, and there’s one not 10 miles from here that I didn’t know about. Think I’ll check it out with my Mom tomorrow! Self-employed and the budget is getting EXTREMELY tight, this might help a lot!
