OK, here's a REALLY GREAT idea for future debate moderators: Take 45 or more seconds to ask a question, and usually it's a multi-part question, with anywhere from 3-5 topics in it, and then, give the candidate only 30 seconds to answer. But wait, everytime the candidate nears the 30 second mark, start breathing deeply/grunting into your microphone, trying to get their attention.
No questions on the economy or energy, just liberal issues about homosexuals, abortion, God and gummit, then Paulson got all the questions even though nobody will vote for him.
Then of course the Tea Party is too extreme question.
Pray for America
Except with Rush, ZERO would not come. hahahahaha
Frankly, and a big shout out to every commenter on this thread up through 21, after about 2 minutes, I wanted to punch the interrupting multi questions within a question preceeded by a vague reference to something put forth by one of the other candidates, SOB right in the mouth.
I attempted to make this post in the same vein as one of King’s questions. I believe I succeeded. Kudos to the contestants for being able to understand what he was getting at. He left me wondering half the time, what the heck he was talking about.
I noticed one obvious question King failed to ask in his This or That:
CNN or FoxNews?
Which means they knew the answer in advance, which proves again that what they do and say is deceptive, deliberate, and dangerous.
Interesting idea..Rush has 3 hours..maybe eliminate most commercial breaks..except for top and bottom of the hour..have all the candidates in..sit around the EIB ,mikes and have an intelligent discussion. It would be an open invite
I DVR’d the debate and watched part of it later in the evening. 15 minutes of King was all I could take. The GOP never fails to impress with their choice of debate venues and moderators.
John King has Tourette syndrome
eh ur em uh ...
The prick tried to start a food fight and failed!
I liked the debate.
The somewhat odd fact it was on CNN in my opinion, means some people who otherwise would only ever listen to Obama, got to hear facts for a change.
Thinking there is a tiny bit of cognitive dissonance happening over in CNN viewership land today.
Even Sister Mary Elephant was embarrassed.
Agreed! They are a farce.
The 30 seconds gave enough time to start a reply and by the time the candidate got to an Obama comparison, the 30 secs were conveniently up. I think this was by design. Not enough time to state a position AND contrast with Obama. Can’t have criticism of the one.
I think that would SELL, would be the greatest 3 hours in Radio. I just know he would invite ZERO. rofl
I agree. I’d have thrown in, “seriously John? No wonder CNN’s ratings are in the dumps.”
You know who stank more than John King? That stupid mooing line of RIN0’s standing there being “nice” We’re being fed a diet of pablum. We’re being offered a choice between baby shit and bull shit.
“Next question: Boxers or briefs? Let’s start with Michele Bachmann.”
