Ted Turner Says Climate Change is Critical
Brian Koenig ^ | 6/26/11 | Brian Koenig

Leftist media mogul, and founder of CNN, Ted Turner is spouting environmental propaganda, saying climate change is "probably the most serious - and, in all fairness, the most complex - problem that humanity has ever faced."

And of course, Ted Turner is an expert on the environment, as he shipped his United Nations Foundation off to the northern part of Norway to take part in a telephone news conference: "It is really easy to understand how some people don't get it, because it's so complex and complicated," he said.

Turner's asinine rambling came in response to questions posed by reporter Sunny Lewis of the Environment News Service. “A few climate skeptics and deniers seem to be holding up action to curb climate change,” Lewis asserted. He then asked Turner, “What can be done to convince and persuade these holdouts as to actually realize what so many scientists know and are telling us in urgent terms?”

The Communist News Network founder retorted, “That’s a very good question ... and if we knew the answer to it, we’d already have an energy policy in the United States. You know, my good friend Boone Piockens points out, and absolutely correctly, that the United States, in its history, has never had an energy policy including during the Arab oil shocks of the ‘70s, and we still don’t have (one), and we need to.

To sum it up, Mr. Turner is advocating his typical communistic approach to American exceptionalism, and in this instance, it is for the battle against "climate change." Because without the benevolent U.S. government's regulatory role in our everyday lives, the apocalypse will continue to linger at our doorsteps.

Ted could make a big dent in “climate change” if he would turn ALL of his money and property over to the U.S. government. It might also give him a little credibility. Something he doesn’t have right now due to his association with the UN.

If he could find a way to keep his and his ex-wifes mouths shut, he could lower the global BS lever by about 1/3.

I agree with the headline, I mean if the climate didn’t change we wouldn’t get the four seasons.

What a schmuck Turner is! He would do well to follow the WWII series posted daily here at FR.

I suggest tomorrow Ted should give the government 95% of his wealth to combat climate change, sell his houses and buy a small bungaloo, never fly again in an airplane and hold his breath most of the day.

Until he does these things anything he says just exposes him as another elitist out to control peoples lives and a hypocrite.

Ted Turner Says Climate Change is Critical

Let me paraphrase that headline:

Many Americans Think Regime Change is Critical

Dear Ted,

Please kill yourself to save the planet. I’ll have a baby to replace you. He’ll be cuter than you; they all are.

Sincerely,

Why in the world would anyone ask Ted Turner for his opinion on climate change? And after asking why would they report his answers. We indeed live in a strange world these days. Ask the inmates in an insane asylym the same question and give their answers the same weight as Turners on this topic.
