Why does this clown still have a job?
I did read something I hope is NOT true because it does make her sound like she is not ready for prime time.
It is going around the internet that Bachmann said the great American John Wayne was born in her town, and others are saying that it was in fact not that John Wayne, but John Wayne Gacy who was born in that town. They are hoping she is not calling Gacy a great American.
Is this a fable or true? Did she say this as reported?

Chris Wallace has been a staunch supporter of Conservative principles. He also has a heck of a sense of humor.
Like all of us who like to look at life through a lens of humor, this particular comment came out DOA. I am more than willing to put myself in his shoes and say in my brain “they say you are a flake — well, are you?” with the expectation of a “Hell NO!” response.
Mr. C. Wallace has been the opposite of his dad from his adulthood on and deserves our support from what was clearly an awkward moment.
If it were me... being asked that question, I would have said. “No, I’m not a flake. Are you liberal?”
Correct answer:
“Are you a Flake?”
“Probably to about the same extent ass you are a cornball.”
It was flaky question.

Me neither. Couldn’t believe he was actually saying what he was saying AND she fired back. Sarah Palin was on a couple of weeks back, and he tried the same sort of demeaning stuff with her. She also fired back like he was Ned in the First Reader. - These women have got to be real tired of these “journalists” treating them disrespectfully while they allow Obama to skate gaffe, after gaffe, after gaffe, after shameful gaffe. - I wondered when their attempted destruction of Bachmann would start just as they had done with Palin.
Show some class? He should resign.
If she were a truly classy lady she would have graciously accepted Wallace's apology and moved on. Her refusal makes her appear petty and vindictive.
In my inner bizzaro world, here would be a Fox News Sunday interview question:
“Thank you for taking the time to come sit with us today, Mister President. Now, people have been asking questions about all of your past work in the Senate and back in Chicago, and even about your educational records, as far back as the 2008 campaign. You’ve never shared any of this information with the American people, though in the past a candidate’s background has always been fair grounds. Why don’t you share this information with us?”
