Humberto Leal , a Mexican illegal alien was finally executed Thursday evening for the 1994 rape-slaying of 16-year-old Adria Sauceda, whose brutalized nude body was found hours after he left a San Antonio street party with her. She was bludgeoned with a chunk of asphalt.
Leal was executed after the U.S. Supreme Court (by a 5-4 vote) turned down a appeal by President Barack Obama to stop the execution due to complaints by the Mexican Government and the U.N. justice court that he had not properly received “consular access” before his trial.
As with his lawsuit against Arizona over its mere upholding of Federal laws with SB1070, his unilateral approval for access for Mexican drivers in the U.S., and his virtual amnesty for “Dreamer” illegal aliens, Obama once again chose Mexico over the American people. This last disgraceful act by Obama was a slap in the face to the Sauceda Family – who had waited far too long for justice, as well as the People of Texas, whose sovereignty clearly means nothing to him.
After the Supreme Court ruled against Obama and Leal, the Texas Gov. Rick Perry also refused to stop the execution – thus sealing this savage’s fate. In his last minutes, Humberto Leal said he was sorry and accepted responsibility.

I was just at the Alamo this weekend much bigger than I thought! Awesome & lots to look at including weapons, antiques, room displays, the Alamo fight model which was quite impressive along with the history and names of those that died.
The surrounding area also has lots of bars, restaurants along with the River Walk.

Never been there, though I’d like to see it. I’ve been to Fort William Henry up at Lake George; that seemed much smaller than you’d think from the “Last of the Mohicans” movie (nearby Fort Ticonderoga is much more worthwhile, while Quebec’s “Old City” takes the cake - it’s supposed to be the only walled city in North America).
Although the “Mexican National” persona implies he was here on vacation or something...from what I have read he has been in the US since he was a very young child.
Just one of the many things about this case that has me all wee-weed up.
I was pretty certain Perry wouldn't cave. I am just glad the Supreme Court didn't, albeit by a close margin.
Justice was served. If he was so enamored with Mexico, and the UN, Obama and Mexico were so intent on saving his life...maybe they could take up a collection and bury him in his “homeland”.

Perry is strictly law and order. He would not go against his Bureau of Pardons in a case. Good for him. This guy had years to try and get off. However, this crime was so bad, that no one in Texas wanted this guy to ever escape Justice. Liberals are all about the so called rights of the criminals. Perry rightfully did not focus on the man sitting before him but forever-16-year-old Adria Sauceda, a Mexican-American murdered by a Mexican. Why should Mexico want someone like this alive?
