So the appearance of this article by Tom Geoghegan on the BBC website Rupert Murdoch:Could his US empire be affected? should be ringing alarm bells for conservatives on both sides of the Atlantic. For this is not really about the rather shady ethics of a few phone hacking tabloid journalists.

the international communist movement is out to take down
any opposing media.
murdoch is in their way.
the so-called “internet neutrality” is the next hurdle.
Murdoch will survive. After all, CBS is still in business spewing commie propaganda, even after Rather...
The simple fact is that News International journalists have been caught, openly and blatantly breaking the rules (and the law) in an utterly cynical way. They really are guilty of some serious wrongdoing here. No doubt about it. They have admitted to some of it. Several have already been sent to prison.
Now obviously that is going to be bad publicity for Murdoch at the very least. If he colluded with that illegal activity, and its very hard to see how at least some of the upper echelons of News International could not be aware it was going on, he could be in real trouble.
The BBC does NOT have a TV news monopoly in the UK. It's not neccesary to exaggerate in order to make your point sussex.
>but I don’t think its any kind of plot by them.
you forgot how george soros’ groups got glenn beck’s advertisers to remove themselves from fox.
to name a few: apple, geico, at&t etc.
soros’ groups monitor every fox news presentation, as well as rush limbaugh, sean hannity, etc.
“Murdoch is a very tough player and is certainly not perfect. But what might initially appear to be a storm in an English media teacup is part of an Anglo-American liberal left media msm elite plot to emasculate Fox News in the US and protect the BBC TV news monopoly in the UK “
Why, of course.
When the NYtimes breaks the law by taking ill-gotten wikileaks of state secrets, or Brad Manning’s treasonous releases, that is bold journalism. No scandal.
When some cellphones are hacked by celeb-journalists, thats a crime.
Gotcha. All the memes that are fit to use.
True, these acts are not equivalent. The classified information printed by the Slimes has led to the deaths of numerous US intelligence officers. How many people did the phone hackers kill?
I am not excusing this NOR the NYTimes publications of state secrets obtained through illegal methods. I am pointing out rather the liberal media’s own double-standard wrt their supposed “right to know”.
I’m crazy about King Rupert but he has got some problems in the UK...no question of that
He has to clean it up....what were they thinking over there?
no doubt BBC is happy
