Amazing how the Democratic majority Senate hasnt passed a budget in over two years. Wait a minute, they havent even presented one. They just vote down whatever budget comes out of the House and dont present any alternative to avoid taking tough votes because there are 23 Democratic senators up for re-election in 2012. And now suddenly President Obama is very, very anxious to get something big put together and stop kicking the can down the road. Anyone find that ironic? I didnt think so. Weve become so used to this since he was inaugurated that it is no surprise to us.

It does look like a good article.
In 2012, 23 Dem Senators are up for re-election and only 10 Rep Senators.
In 2014, 20 Dem Senators are up for re-election and only 13 Rep Senators.
If all goes well we should have two good election cycles.
This explains very clearly why the current proposal from the GOP is on the table.
The GOP is not caving, as so many FReepers claim, but playing politics.
While some might argue that they should do what is right for the country, the rules of the game are the rules of the game. Play by them or die because you ignored them.
If the Repubs don't start acting like Dems--which is exactly what John Cornyn (TX) is already doing!

I'm starting to believe that Barack is smoking crack again.
His character during the campaign and for the first year of his
administration was consistent with symptoms of early crack use.
Now he is displaying symptoms consistent with advanced use.Early Stage Effects and Symptoms Of Crack Use:
- Euphoria - magnification of pleasure
- Alertness and increased vigilance
- Heightened sense of well being
- Decreased anxiety
- Lower social inhibitions: more sociable and talkative
- Heightened energy
- Inflated self-esteem
- Increased emotional and sexual arousal
- Appetite loss; weight loss
Advanced Stage Effects and Symptoms Of Crack Use:
- Extreme euphoria
- Lack of inhibitions
- Impaired judgment
- Grandiosity
- Impulsiveness
- Hyper-vigilance
- Compulsive
- Extreme psycho-motor activation/agitation
- Anxiety; irritability; argumentative
- Transient panic
- Paranoia
- Terror of impending death
- Poor reality testing; delusions
- Increased weight loss

At a MINIMUM, the Republicans should be out in the press saying “we will not negotiate any further on the debt ceiling until Harry Reid and his caucus put forth a budget.”
Those are eyes of pure evil.
I still can’t believe this guy was elected president. I think the electorate is smoking crack.
Fix spending and fix Hussein. It’d be a good twofer.
Best article I’ve read in LONG time.
It should be emailed far and wide.
Bump!
Amazing how the Democratic majority Senate hasnt passed a budget in over two years. Wait a minute, they havent even presented one.Huh?? The Senate shouldn't have presented one.
Under the Constitution, budgets don't originate in the Senate. Creating them is the responsibility of the House.
Not sure if I have this right but, the house passed the “Ryan budget” this year. The senate either didn’t take it up or defeated it. So, now its up to the senate to draft a budget and it goes to conference. I think, but I could be wrong.
Unless the republic is destroyed, Obama will be gone from the White House sooner or later.
But the brain dead zombies who voted him into office will still be out there, breathing, voting and reproducing.

THATS RASCIST!/s
Those are eyes of pure evil.
No soul. Just blank.
This is good news, but let’s not forget to “off” the RINOs. Here’s a list for starters. Lugar (35yrs), Hatch (35yrs), Snowe (17yrs), Hutchison (18yrs.), Corker in 2012; McConnell (26yrs.), Alexander, Cochran (33 yrs), Chambliss, Collins (14yrs.), Graham (8yrs.) in 2014. Many of these people have been in the Senate far too long and are part of the nation’s problems, not the solutions.
It is a good article. And Pennsylvania senator Casey is one of those up for re-election next year. I am thrilled with Pat Toomey so far, now looking for the candidate who will defeat Casey. If this train can leave the station, there will be very little that can stop it going into next year.
Breathing, voting, and reproducing? Well voting, yes, but I don’t think all the “voters” are breathing. Check out Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Milwaukee, etc. etc.
