White House Responds to Blaze Video About MSNBC Host’s Departure
The Blaze ^ | 7/21/2011 | Jonathon M. Seidl

Earlier today, we posted a simple little video that asked an interesting question: “Is the the White House programming a news channel?”

That seems like a provocative question, and it is. And some have wondered why we asked it. Why? Because a now-former MSNBC host suggested it in a resignation video posted on YouTube. Of course we’re going to do a story on that! And now it seems to have captured the attention of the White House.

Let me explain.

the head of MSNBC (he’s presumably referring to Phil Griffin) met with Cenk and told him that he met with people “in Washington” and they didn‘t like Cenk’s “tone.”

And this is suppose to be a big secret??? All you have to do is watch MSNBC for 10 minutes and it's obvious they are an arm of the White House communication office and the Obama 2012 campaign.

Cenk may be on the wrong side of things but at least he seems to have a spine.

No surprise here. They did the same thing to Washington DC talk radio WMAL when management was pressured to get rid of Andy Parks and Fred Grandy.

They (Anita Dunn, was one)bragged that they completely controlled the media during the campaign, every message & every story and all access. If they didn’t put the narrative to the story, it wasn’t reported on. Of course they are doing it now more than ever.

There is no dignity in being a journalist.

The WH didn’t have a ‘hand’ in it...

Of course not. The WH was in it from the tips of their toe nails to the last split-end of the hair on their head. Of course they didn’t have a hand it it - they were all-in.

I don’t know, The Bible is not a pick and choose kind of document.

So let me see if I understand the new media:

This article is an opinion piece from a radio host’s blog about the White House commenting on another blog post about a YouTube video by a disgruntled ex employee of a cable network that no one watches posted on a news forum.

Can you put this on Facebook and tweet it? That should just about cover everything.

Sorry about that post.

Mixed it up with another thread regarding a minister who tore up some parts of the Bible he disagreed with.

So true. Every few commercial breaks they run creepy leftist propaganda spots with their various on-air people running textbook democrat talking points. Very off-putting.

Even when I occasionally find something I decide to start watching on the network, never fails I change the channel because of the mindless propaganda. Extremely biased.

Damnable corruption. If and when the people get their freedom back..these acts should be prosecuted.

Thanks blueyon.
"Is the the White House programming a news channel?" ... a now-former MSNBC host suggested it in a resignation video posted on YouTube.
It is unfortunate that this anti-American partisan hack will still be employed in so-called journalism. His semi-coherent, semi-paranoid ramblings about his resignation aren't exactly an indictment of either Zero or MSNBC -- so what that he claims he's harder on Zero than anyone else at MSNBC? No one on that network can be said to be anything but in the tank for Zero anyway. MSNBC's move was to put (another) one of Zero's diehard supporters into Skank's former timeslot.

It just proves, once again, that most journalists are nothing more than whores who throw themselves at people with power.

Today’s MSM is more like Monica Lewinsky than Edward R Murrow.

I realize that the MSM is monolithically liberal. I also acknowledge that leftist journalism can sway elections. But they can only sway elections when people are asleep.

The 2010 elections prove without a doubt that the people have not only awakened, but have concluded that they have been lied to.

Name the medium, and you will find that left-leaning entities are losing market share, while right, or right-to-center operations are in ascendancy. It's a confidence issue, a credibility issue, that will marginalize the main-streamers for this upcoming presidential election also.

Sarah Palin is showing us how to make them totally irrelevant. She's completely ignoring the main-stream outlets, and is getting away with it. This would not be possible five years ago.

The media landscape has changed, and everyone sees it but the Democratic Party.
