that is what the californicate wants.

the californicate is deliberately over regulating businesses

so that the businesses and middle class leave the state.

Notice the new Leftist lingo — “food hardship” rather than “hungry”?

Just as Thomas Sowell says, they keep defining “poverty” up so as to continue to support the poverty pimps and the welfare industry.

Even if no one ever was even a teeny-tiny bit hungry, the Left would argue that there was a still a problem, conveniently called “food hardship,” which means that some people do have food that is as good or as nutritious or as healthy as other people. And that is not fair.

hey I didn’t vote for the jerk. I got laid off from the Boy Scout of America in Glendale Ca they have NO money. I have been looking for work for 15 months. My husband is on disability, for stress, I broke my spine in April, had surger in June and never going on disability, the surgeon told me he would not sign for it, I have been looking for work straight through, but there is NONE. We are about to lose everything we have worked for our whole life. This should not be happening in America. This is HELL! I hope God will come save us from this horrible president he is worse than Jimmy Carter! Way worse.

Um, the way they push the WIC program, I wonder how true that is.

I had a baby last week, and when I was drugged and alone (with babe) sleeping in my room a lady came in and woke me up and excitedly told me all these wonderful things I could be getting to feed myself and baby. She wanted to write me down on her clipboard. I figured out it was WIC and told her I wasn’t eligible and her cheery speech stopped and she quickly left.

How many people sign up for all those wonderful goodies? How do they prove their eligibility? How many people who sign are not in the country legally? Grabbing drugged new moms to sign up is just ridiculous.

But tattoos, bling, cell phones and satellite dishes and cable are somehow in every dwelling.

I hesitate to call their dwellings homes.

“Have there been times in the past 12 months when you did not have enough money to buy food that you or your family needed?”

“The answers to the question reveal there are times that these families are going without eating a meal, or the parents are skipping a meal for their children, or children are skipping meals.”

Crap disembodied statistic. The author should be summarily shot, for malfeasence.

Our local rag had damn near the same headline a couple of days ago.

“One in Four ARIZONA Families Can't Afford Food for their Kids”

Sounds to me like the grand opening of a new propaganda campaign for more tax money.
Don't these folks know that local news is now available worldwide?

It is RACIST to expect Eric Holder's people to spend their food stamps and ADC checks on FOOD for their kids.

100% of all men that answered the question “Have you stopped beating your wife?” have admitted to being physical abusers.

One in Four California Families Can’t Afford Food for Their Kids

These headlines mean nothing to me.

Turn to the next page of the newspaper and they will be telling us how 30% of Californians are obese and how it effects the poor even more.

45 million people on food stamps and one in four families can't afford food for their kids?

Okay, somebody do the math.
Assuming that people are using their food stamps to buy food, that would ballpark our unemployment rate is about 40%.

This is all a bunch of hoo-haa.

Most can feed a family fairly cheaply, if they choose to do so.

I bet they can afford beer, cigarettes and lottery tickets for themselves though.

And isn’t it amazing that groups that get paid to find issues effecting children do find issues effecting children? Groups like “Food Research and Action Center”, “Children Now”, “Kidsdata.org”, and the “Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health”.

But the only group you will find questioning those issues is here on FR and we don’t even get paid to do it.

I am so tired of everyone with a fax machine and the ability to print letterhead and business cards setting themselves up to advocate in the name of grant acquisitions, er, some cause or other.

Tax the Democrats! It’s for the children. The Democrats are not paying their fair share.
