Yahoo! is asking Americans how September 11 changed them. Below is an account from a reader.
As a reporter, I always looked forward to "good news days," a day when there was lots of hot news to cover, read about, and watch. As I sat along with the rest of the world glued to our television screens and watched the towers come down on September 11, 2001, and in the days afterward, I was overcome with guilt for ever wishing for a "good news day."

Please think of our Military and Pray for our Military everyday. More than once, if the time is available, please (I know you do, MosesmomS). Our Men and Women in Uniform deserve this of each of us.
The September 11th attacks were an affirmation of what I already knew to be true, what I already believed about the world, and who our enemy was and still is in the modern world. And it made me incredibly glad Gore was not President.
The City of Malden, MA will hold a Memorial Walk beginning at 9:30 AM. The day of reflection will start at City Hall Plaza followed by the walk to the Immaculate Conception Church where the Knights of Columbus Council 13966 will host The Blue Mass. The Mass will be followed by a reception brunch for 1st Responders. The day will conclude at the Irish American Club for a Community Day of Reflection.
