In yet another expansion of government through Executive Order, the Obama administration has created an Office of Diversity and Inclusion to boost minority participation in the federal work force.
Judicial Watch reported on this new government office Wednesday, and stated that the Obama administration’s goal is to:
“Eliminate demographic group imbalances in targeted occupations and improve workforce diversity. To attain this, special initiatives have been created targeting specific groups, including Hispanics, African Americans, American Indians, women and gays and lesbians.”
You can read the entire executive order here, but below is an excerpt that summarizes its mission:
“By this order, I am directing executive departments and agencies to develop and implement a more comprehensive, integrated, and strategic focus on diversity and inclusion as a key component of their human resources strategies.”

BO’s jobs program, I suppose. More government workers from Black districts because they are threatening not to vote for him in 2012. Some courageous GOP candidate ought to question this quota hiring financed by taxpayer money.

How is this any different than entering a crowded theater and screaming, “Fire!”? People of all races are struggling and unemployed and he just said, “Hey white man, you’re not going to get hired so don’t bother even applying.” This man is trying to incite a race war.
Black people are over represented in gubmint jobs. Does this mean that they we will be replaced with white fudgepackers?

Executive Orders (EOs) are legally binding orders given by the President, acting as the head of the Executive Branch, to Federal Administrative Agencies. Executive Orders are generally used to direct federal agencies and officials in their execution of congressionally established laws or policies. However, in many instances they have been used to guide agencies in directions contrary to congressional intent.
Not all EOs are created equal. Proclamations, for example, are a special type of Executive Order that are generally ceremonial or symbolic, such as when the President declares National Take Your Child To Work Day. Another subset of Executive Orders are those concerned with national security or defense issues. These have generally been known as National Security Directives. Under the Clinton Administration, they have been termed “Presidential Decision Directives.”
Executive Orders do not require Congressional approval to take effect but they have the same legal weight as laws passed by Congress. The President’s source of authority to issue Executive Orders can be found in the Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution which grants to the President the “executive Power.” Section 3 of Article II further directs the President to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” To implement or execute the laws of the land, Presidents give direction and guidance to Executive Branch agencies and departments, often in the form of Executive Orders.//
I don’t see where it says he is allowed to create an agency and direct other agencies to aide it. I’m confused. Skirting the Constitution again?

I suggest you move immediately to create an Office of Diversity and Inclusion to help pump up turnout in 2012. Don’t worry about the Constitution or Congress or funding, just issue an Executive Order. Let Valerie handle the finding issues. If there is any push back from Congress just play the normal card - that should shut them up.

Compared to the general population, whites and hispanics are underrepresented, and blacks overrepresented by about 50%.
So he’s gonna fix that, right, and bring us all within “quota”? Shur thing.
