Like you, I have no idea what the WH is doing. It's all very upsetting. Like the WH, the DU poster has no idea what the WH is doing.

You know the planning for the speech went something like this...
‘Hey, Congress goes back into session on the 7th, we should go make a speech, talk about jobs, and make this whole election season about that rather than all the rest of the stuff we don't really want to talk about.’
Heads bob around the table. ‘Good, good, let's leak it, someone wake up the teleprompter so he can start learning the speech, and someone get in line to see if Obama can fit it in around the golf schedule.’
Someone taps on their phone a bit, frowns, and then says, ‘Hey, guys, there's a Republican debate that night, at the Reagan library.’ Blank stares around the table. ‘Just saying, maybe the networks might decide to run some of it, just to balance things out. Could be bad...’
Heads shake, leaks are leaked, someone got through to Obama’s caddy and indeed there won't be a golf game schedule conflict, though it did appear that a party had to be rescheduled to later in the evening as a celebration of the speech.

A new DUmmie thread has popped up:
WORST HEADLINE: Obama bows to Boehner on jobs speech That's on Yahoo. It might as well have read that he went down on him, which would not technically be accurate.
Recommended to bring some sense of reality to the delusional
Perception is reality.

I had to swing by MSNBC to savor their tears. It was well worth it. The stand in for Madcow had a nice old liberal journalist on, who basically shrugged and said "Yeah, Obama tried to bigfoot the GOP and failed."
I think the host was expecting him to explain how this was actually a brilliant move, and instead, the look of momentary shock on her face was priceless.
Sorry, but there's just no spinning this. Either the White House staff is incompetent in ways that defies physics, or they flat-out PW3ND during their own ambush of the GOP. THEN, they picked the next possible worse night. Hey, why not Friday? That's open.
Maybe they don't even want that many viewers? At this point, I'm with the DU folks in wondering if he even wants to be re-elected.

It isn’t even about the GOP debate; the Obama and his village idiots have so little respect for America and it’s institutions that they wouldn’t even check with Congress before announcing the speech. A president asks and is invited into the House.

These posts are sounding almost normal, not the usual profane hysteria....hmm.

The game won't be interrupted. Start time may move to 9pm.That'll really endear the Obozo to east coast fans who'll have to stay up until 2am to watch the whole game and post-game. Way to go, Obozo!! Keep up the good work.

Once again the DUmmies are DUmmies.
Wonder who they’ll cheer for in the Packers/Saints game?!?
I’m guessing they’ll stand and cheer for the play-by-play’s announcer’s teleprompter.
