On this Labor Day 2011, the Teamsters head, Jim Hoffa had in this interview REMOVED all doubt on where unions stand in regards to the upcoming 2012 USA Presidential elections in a special way as well as his view of American business which Mr. Hoffa says are “unpatriotic”.

Mr. Hoffa’s view on who he and the Teamsters WILL BE BACKING come 2012, and it will be President Barack Hussein Obama. That was to be expected.

Give Candy Crowley credit for not only asking the very tough questions but getting Mr. Hoffa to realize that American businesses are very much are holding back because of not being too pleased with the out-of-control taxing, spending, and regulations coming out from Washington D.C. In OTHER WORDS Mr. Hoffa, American business is on STRIKE RIGHT NOW and is NOT HIRING as a way of showing great displeasure over what is going on in the beltway.

Yet Mr. Hoffa sure sounds more like a person who is running for a public office rather than acting like he is the head of a major American union.

On this Labor Day 2011 when for many Americans, it is the fight to hold onto their jobs or a fight to just be able to find one, this interview simply REMOVES all doubts were Mr. Hoffa and big labor stands in regards to the 2012 USA Presidential elections, and it is not putting the best interests of real, everyday Americans who work or are trying to find gainful employment work to heart but to simply be in support once again of the FAILED and FAILING polices of both President Obama and the Democrats.

TOPICS: Business/Economy; Government; Politics

Union leaders are too stupid to understand that after the government takes over everyhing- they will take over THEM last.

They wont be needed any more

Doubt? What doubt? This should have been as predictable as gravity.

The head of the unions is Jim Hoffa? Related to the famous Jimmy Hoffa, who disappeared? Who was supposed to be mob?

The unions extort money from their members that go directly to the rats. The unions also organize mandatory support for rats. Without major legal changes the system must remain “as is”. The rats run the unions now but they can claim the unions are independent.

If the GOP were smart they would challenge the legality of what the unions have done for decades. All they have to find is a few union members who don’t support the rats. They operate just like the mafia.

I always confuse Jim Hoffa with his old man, Jimmy who currently sleeps with the fish. Jimmy Hoffa is the labor union version of the Loch Ness monster with many Jimmy Hoffa sighting over the decades.

Just watching FNC. The Honorable Jimmy Hoffa, addressing a crowd of thugs waiting for the chief thug to give his jobs speech, said speaking of the Tea Party, “we need to take those sons of bitches out.” A thinly veiled threat.

Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the LORD, my soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake,
I pray the LORD my soul to take.
God bless Mommy and Daddy and both my Ma Ma's and Pa pa's.
And please O LORD, please give unions the gonads they need to form their own political party and run their own candidates so they can be defeated like the cur dogs they are. AMEN

Good point, that it’s American Business that’s on strike right now, rather than any aspect of Big Labor, which is where we always assume the “strikes” will come from. Big Labor is getting a taste of its own medicine, even though
the so-called strike
that is coming from Business is nothing more than a hesitation, a reluctance to commit to a scenario of gross uncertainty where hiring would have no point and would further drain their profits. Union dominance and influence has been waning for years, it’s membership has been decreasing (perfectly logical in a capitalist nation where any skilled worker eventually figures out that he might be better off as an entrepreneur) The whole big picture for them has been in decline for years, and Obama’s Administration is the one thing that’s given it hope to regain lost ground, and it’s no wonder they cling to it.

Unions were more honorable when they were mob controlled. The mafia didn’t like Communists.

Are the unions trying to pick a fight with the tea party movement?

Teamsters’ Vegas Convention Calls for CEO Prosecutions & Union Pension Bailout

Posted by LaborUnionReport (Profile)

Monday, July 4th, 2011 at 8:00PM EDT

Despite the bribery scandals, the dancers, and the jokes about the millions of their members’ dues that Teamster bosses spent in Las Vegas last week at the union’s 28th international convention, delegates did accomplish one thing of note: The delegates passed a resolution that, among other things, calls for a “financial rescue package for struggling union pensions” (also known as the $165 billion union pension bailout).

Following last year’s failure of Democrats (and a few Republicans, like new GOP-presidential hopeful Thad McCotter) to get taxpayers to shell out up to $165 billion to prop up union pension funds, unions have continued to bemoan the fact that they have been unable to dip their beaks into the public treasury as Wall St. fat cats did in 2008.

Meanwhile, as hundreds of union pension funds are listed in critical status, union bosses (including the Teamsters) continue to misleadingly blame the financial meltdown of 2008 for their ills. The fact of the matter is, many union pension funds were already underfunded before the economy tanked.

For example, the Teamsters notorious Central States Pension Fund (ironically, the same pension plan that helped build the Las Vegas strip) was estimated to be only half funded in 2007 when Teamsters president James P. Hoffa reportedly allowed UPS to withdraw from the fund in exchange for unionizing UPS Freight.

I guess those Mexican truck drivers that are now allowed to drive in the United States does not impact his “Brother Truckers”.
