I turned on the TV shortly before noon. Wanted to see if C-span was carrying Palin's speech in NH. I hate those bugs and crawlers and other distractions on FOX, CNN, and MSNBC. It wasn't on C-Span, but they were airing Col. West's town hall from 8/31, and I watched it, and was totally blown away.
How about spelling his first name correctly? It’s Allen, not Alan.
I just hope he spends some time in Maryland this year helping us to get rid of Steny Hoyer by working for Charles Lollar.

If people followed voting, bill signing, and administrating records, there would never be Guilianis, Romneys, McCains, Perrys, or Huntsmans in office. They would all be gone after their first term at anything.

He made a point of joining the BC so he could be in their face as a conservative. It now appears he realizes it’s impossible to have a conversation with the insane & may withdraw.
Pigford (that’s the one I couldn’t remember) - he immediately regretted the vote & said he didn’t have enough information.
He didn’t see the point of defunding Obamacare. I could quibble on that one, but he does want to repeal it totally.
I haven’t heard him state his reason for Libya. Got me there.
Debt increase - damned if he did, damned if he didn’t. Better not to give the left another bludgeon to use.
Is it really necessary to use that term: Fags? Whether you approve or disapprove of the lifestyle, they are among us & we can treat them with respect all while opposing their agenda. I doubt that Allen is pro-homosexual. I think he just doesn’t want to demean them. Of course, I didn’t hear his comments, so what exactly did he say that was so terrible?
Humans err, & politicians really screw up on occasion. We must keep an eye on them & confront them when they don’t stick to their values. That being said, Allen West is still one of the good guys.

I had the privilege of meeting him in 2010 when he came to Sarasota for a fundraiser. In person he's even more formidable and impressive.....and he's perfect gentleman.
We are fortunate to have him in the House.

He voted to keep one hundred million dollars in funding for ObamaCare school medical clinics, which we all know are little more than a gateway to Planned Parenthood.
He voted to raise the debt ceiling by several trillion dollars.
I’m going to trust Colonel West to make decisions. I may not always understand what he is doing but I believe that he does.
