We spent a very long (and hot) day talking with many people on the island and filming several scenes with the big check that will be compiled into a video once we get home. There was one conversation, however, that I want to share with you tonight. We spent at least a couple hours at the Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children today. I got a call this morning from a reporter with the Honolulu Civil Beat who wanted to interview us, so he met us at the Medical Center. His story should run tomorrow.
After that interview, we went into the records office, and Miki asked to file a form to get her son's birth records. While she was filling out the form, I happened to overhear a woman who was sitting at a desk say something about the race field on a birth certificate she was preparing. I asked her if this was the office that responsible for filling out the birth certificate information for babies born there, and she said that it was.

All evidence points to this being supplied by the parents, and it's not at all unreasonable for a black man from Africa to say his race is African.
There is no proof Obama was at the hospital, nor filled out the birth certificate. They did not live together after the alleged birth.
Obama Sr. never lived at the address published by the Honolulu newspaper in the birth announcement. This is in the INS files.
Obama’s age listed on the alleged BC is 25. This is not correct. His INS records indicate he wrote his birth 18 June 1934. This makes him 27 in 1961.
US government officials use the term Kenya, East Africa; Djibouti, East Africa; East Africa.
Have seen it used in Embassy message traffic and DOD sponsored classes.
This poster learned the term East Africa prior to being assigned to a country in East Africa.
Is that the the part of Latin America where they speak Latin or the part of Austria where they speak Austrian?
The argument here is that the term could not have been used at all, because it's a nationality. Obama may or may not have been at the hospital, but the fact remains that nationalities can be used and indeed have been.
At this point, only an idiot would actually believe the man was born in Hawaii.
What “race” is a Japanese person? What “race” is a Chinese person? In 1961, as today, these were used as their race classifications. What race is an American? What race is a African? Simple answer - those vary.
Notice how we now have all these different classifications for “Hispanic”, back in the ‘60’s they were classified as “white”. UNLESS a race reported “negro” as a mixture with any other race, then those were included in the negro classification. Not even non-white, but in the negro group.
Nice to overlook that certain things were done differently in the ‘60’s, and that some things are still done the same way today. Japanese was used as a race in 1961, and it is still used as a race classification today. African never has been. Not in America, or on American BC’s.
