The GOP is making a concerted effort to pressure billionaire investment guru Warren Buffett to release his tax returns to the public.
Republicans say Buffett the public face of Obamas proposed Buffett rule to increase taxes on the wealthy needs to reveal his finances if his views on tax rates are going to serve as the basis for Obama administration policy.
Will Warren Buffett release his tax returns so we can see why he should be the standard for tax policy? Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) questioned in a tweet Thursday.
If hes going to be the gold standard, so to speak, in terms of what our tax policy should be, yeah, lets look at it [his tax returns], Cornyn told ABC News.

At least drag his butt up to the hill to explain why he
hasn’t paid more on his own.
I want to see his secretary’s tax return too. Boofay dragged her into this.
He has turned to the Liberal Marxist Messiah (Obama) in a feeble attempt to give his meaningless life......meaning.
Somehow.
It won't work.
The ultimate answer, for Warren Buffett, and for everyone else....is God. Turn to God. Ask God for forgiveness. He will answer, loud and clear. Ask, and is will be given to you.
That shouldn’t be too much of a problem. He brought it to The Charlie Rose Show last month, and showed it to the audience at home.

I don’t want to see his tax return and don’t want more of his money paid into the treasury.
Why should we allow money taken out of the private economy because some democrat loving billionaire says to do so?
That goes for his secretary, too.
buffet and soros are two peas in a pod. Buffet is probably just angry he never had the chance to be a nazi collaborator, yet, and he knows time is running out on his sorry butt.
Does this mean that everyone who expresses their views on taxation must release their tax returns to the public?
And owes a billion in back taxes. He needs a few friends in high places.
Booyah!!
Finally someone here who gets it and understands that a right to privacy actually means not snooping in other people's private records. I cannot believe freepers wanting to see anyone's tax records, medical records, or school records.
My concern with the super rich is only the extent to which they got super rich sponging off the taxpayer, you know, like Al Gore and a lot of these bankers who think they should keep their bonuses while we bail their banks out of their own bad decisions.
But the last thing anyone should want is the government getting any more money, however scoundrelly the source.
