Since the Affordable Health Care Act’s passage, the Obama administration has been a three-record jukebox: “Tax the Rich,” “Save the Unions” and “Green Economy.” The first two selections are broken records, stuck on “Pass this bill now.” The last is just stuck on stupid. Its main defect is the current administration’s methodology. The evidence is the Solyndra scandal.

What Solyndra Scandal?

90% of Americans have never heard of Solyndra, or of Gunwalker, the Media has been working overtime forgetting to mention either.

Ask your friends about it, you will be astonished at their ignorance of either of these outrages.

“We would have been far better off had we simply allowed the free market to do its job — and we would have been a half-billion dollars richer in the process.”

The author missed the point. The Obama administration killed two birds with one subsidy stone. They told their rabid green base that they were supporting the green fantasy and they funneled significant funds to themselves and cronies. This was never about energy. It was about greed, self-interest and fanning political support from the we’ll get energy from unicorn poop and fairy dust crowd.

One of the problems with an empty suit POTUS is that at this point in the office, his staff is in major CYA mode. If they keep a low profile they can exit with a gold star. If they take any risk, pointing out that the emperor is naked then they will be thrown under the bus, and exit the administration as a black sheep. Those with any brains have already headed for greener pastures.

I can’t argue with anything you say here. The administration doesn’t know how to administer. All they can do is try to projerct the appearance of administering, and they’re not doing a very good job of that.

I agree. The level of ignorance is appalling, and the mainstream media plays a large role in that ignorance.

I believe the author’s point is that even using the Obama administration’s arguments about “green energy,” this is the wrong way to go about it.
