OccupyWallStreet: Please Send Pizza
http://radioviceonline.com/ ^ | October 5,2011 | Jim Vicevich

We told you about some of the demands of the occupied Wall Street grad. But Michelle Malkin points us to a new aspect of the occupy Wall Street crowd called needs of the occupiers. It’s almost comical, as these spoiled little trust fund hippies send out the requests for food and solar panels?

So much for the people’s movement, because if you go to the #needsoftheoccupiers twitter site here you’ll see that the requests are so typical of a generation that has already requested money for not working, and free college for everyone. Free!

The list includes:

business suits solar panels with installers thumb drives hand warmers solar blankets The list goes on and on. And just in case you missed it yesterday here is the list of their demands. How about this? How about you guys go back to school and stop wasting your parents money.

Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment.

Demand eleven: Immediate across the board debt forgiveness for all. Debt forgiveness of sovereign debt, commercial loans, home mortgages, home equity loans, credit card debt, student loans and personal loans now! All debt must be stricken from the “Books.” World Bank Loans to all Nations, Bank to Bank Debt and all Bonds and Margin Call Debt in the stock market including all Derivatives or Credit Default Swaps, all 65 trillion dollars of them must also be stricken from the “Books.” And I don’t mean debt that is in default, I mean all debt on the entire planet period.

Here they are … all the art and women studies majors in one location.

It is a miracle that everyday people in NYC and other cities that are holding these protests still have the patience to deal with these folks.

Stoopid people are not normally a threat of any sort unless they are in large numbers....you have to have a herd of them.

Problem is they too have their rights to opinions.

Its too bad they claim to be “smart” and “educated” people.

I wonder - how many are “teachers”?

So, these losers are demanding 'slavery'? I mean, what do you call it when you force people to build homes for someone else - and that home is given free of charge? That means that the construction, architects, electricians and home products manufacturers (shingles, lumber, electronics, plumbing) must all work for free - so by definition they must be slaves.

Typical libtard thought process - enslave the masses, so the elite don't have to work.

>> So much for the people’s movement

... and while we’re on the subject of the people’s movements, what are these hippies doing with theirs?

Did some bleeding heart NYC public works bureaucrat set up portajohns? Or are the institutions they’re vilifying opening up their lobby restrooms to the riff-raff? Limiting their input and output would seem to be an effective way to encourage them to go away.

Occupy wall Street will ultimately go nowhere.

They have a progressive vision for America, but will be duped (once again) into voting for those that they hate.

The right has this problem, and so does the left.

Conservatives, time after time, seem to be duped into voting for those who run on a strong conservative platform, but when elected govern as RINOs.

Progressives vote for those who run on a strong Progressive platform, but when elected govern as DINOs.

Look at all Obama promised his progressive base: Card Check, amnesty for illegals, the public option, and on and on. He said that this were to be his main priorities. Out the window once he was elected, though.

Occupy Wall Street will be duped into voting for establishment Dems, and when those establishment Dems abandon them, the MSM will refocus their attention on those evil Republicans and get their minds off of how they were duped into voting for DINOs.

And the beat goes on...

These protesters/tourists in NYC seem to spend all their time either sleeping and eating in Zuccotti Park, Union Square Park or the Brooklyn Bridge walkway.

Normal New Yorkers can bypass them by going down Maiden Lane rather than Wall Street - which a lot of locals already prefer to do because of what I like to call "tourist paralysis" - the impulse that tourists in NYC seem to have to stop dead in the middle of a thoroughfare to gaze upward and take photos.

Wall Street is usually full of tourists, Maiden Lane not so much. There are also subway walkways you can detour under.

OWS will go nowhere because less than 0.5% of the electorate shares their agenda.

Whether they vote for candidate X or candidate Y is all the same, not because that candidate is betraying them but because that candidate is more interested in 51% of the electorate than 0.51%.

Their only hope for enacting their agenda is to take up arms and fight to impose it on the other 99.5% of America that does not want it. Assuming that they had the physical courage to do that (which none of them do), they would soon be crushed decisively.

They will fail because they are ridiculous, not because of anyone else's slick political maneuvering.

I just tweeted a request for generators to do that. Let's flood this like we did with #AttackWatch.

Base Progressives make up more than .5% of the Democrat Party. Far more than that. Just as Conservatives are far more than a tiny fraction of the GOP.

Yet theses progressives are duped time and time again into voting for those that they call DINOs (Democrat In Name Only).

The idiocy of these people is glaring.

For starters, they think this is an “American Spring” (ala “Arab Spring”) despite the fact that Autumn is upon us and it won’t be long till the snow flies.

Even though this is “Occupy Wall Street”, there are sympathy demonstrations popping up at a few spots around the Country, none of which are anywhere near Wall Street.

And why does anyone need a living wage if everything is going to be handed out for “free”??

Useful infidels...

Base Progressives make up more than .5% of the Democrat Party

These aren't "base progressives."

That base consists of employees of government unions and urban "community organizations" like ACORN, etc. That's a hard core of about 5-8 million people or about 7-8% of the total electorate and 15%-20% of the Democrat electorate.

If you'll notice, these OWS characters have not been joined by thousands of purple-shirted SEIU operatives and their small crowds are roughly 99% white.

Al Sharpton's protest of a single Harlem store drew crowds several times larger than this protest has.

This crew represents a particular slice of the wealthy, pampered liberal elite fringe. Equating them with the "progressive base" is like equating the cranks in the League of the South with "The Tea Party."

The whole comparison to the "Arab Spring" is insulting to the Arab Spring participants.

(1) The Arab Spring participants have incomes less than 5% of what these OWS clowns consume in any given year.

(2) The Arab Spring participants were literally taking their lives in their own hands - they risked death. These OWS clowns are risking a Manhattan appearance ticket.

(3) The Arab Spring participants were protesting a dictatorship they had no control over. These OWS clowns are protesting firms that benefitted from the policies that the candidate they voted for enacted.

They are playacting.
