Like you, I'm sick and tired of the "Occupy Wall Street" crap that is spreading across the United States like a cancer. As economist Thomas Sowell pointed out, it's immoral to hold protests to demand something that one did not earn. No one has a right to my property, just as no one has a right to yours. We must defend (in a non-violent way, of course) what is ours.
We the People must answer these anarchists, these 9/11 Truthers, these Communists, and these antisemites. We must defend the right to private property. We must defend the Constitution. We must defend free market capitalism. We must defend our troops risking life and limb in Iraq and Afghanistan. We must defend the unborn. We must defend religion. In short, We the People must defend the American Way.
In 2009, We the People rose up and started the Tea Party, which handed the Statist Left its worst electoral beating in decades during the 2010 Midterm Massacre. It was a great time to be a patriot, and I am proud I was a part of it.
The time has come to do it again.
Since the Ignorant Left wants to "occupy" the heart of capitalism, We the People should "occupy" the heart of American socialism. We should hold Tea Party rallies outside of welfare offices, outside the headquarters of the IRS, outside of Planned Parenthood offices, outside of Socialist Security offices, outside of the Department of Eduation, the EPA, or any other part the unconstitutional Alphabet Soup that makes up the federal bureaucracy.
We drew countless folks to Tax Day rallies. Glenn Beck drew almost a million people to the 8/28 rally. We did it once....
WE CAN DO IT AGAIN, PATRIOTS!
I'm starting to reconsider, I just finished my final day of anti-biotics which = stomach pain from hell. Does that protect me from their various diseases?
What makes me utterly sick is I live in the far southwestern corner of Crook County a stone throw from Will yet I'm held hostage by these hooligans!!!
I buy my groceries in Will, my vet is in Will, I go to restaurants in Will to spite Crook County but sadly my house and business are in Crook County!
And we have another Crook as County President (Preckwinkle) and Rahm Emanuel as Mayor of Chicago saluting the unwashed hippies trying to make this Red October a repeat of 1917 Russia!!!
I pondered over the idea of being an agent-provocateur but since I don't want to get piercings or dye my hair green it ain't gonna work.
I figure donating money to Free Republic, local Tea Party GOP reps and other like minded conservative groups are better than going near one of them.
My grandfather was Mayor of my city for 20 years from 65 - 85 his parents were Irish immigrants and I have that Irish temper, as many on Free Republic have seen over these fun ten years of me posting :) however, at some point you gotta learn patience.
And after fighting all the various bots, I'd rather just put my money where my mouth is, support JR and FR which has been my home for ten years and say screw the hippies. They aren't even worth looking at. I'd rather watch re-runs of the Golden Girls than watch one hippy defecating on a Chicago Police Car.
I do want to make everyone CLEAR, we have some damn good FReepers in Chicagoland who worked their asses off in 2010. We had election judges, folks like me with video cameras calling police and lawyers on unions, folks watching polls, ect... We may be the land of Barry but we have some of the most amazing FReepers this site has ever seen. One, whom I won't ping but in my eyes is a personal hero chose to throw EVERYTHING on the line and run for Blago's old House Seat. Of course due to "The Chicagoway" she didn't win, but in my eyes she is the biggest winner this State has seen since President Lincoln.
It is FReepers like her that keep this site alive, keep this state alive and keep this Union alive.
On that crazy note I'm going to try and go to bed after my last day of anti-biotics which has probably destroyed my stomach for good. Maybe Obamacare will cure me :D /sarc
FR is a great resource. Certainly a better place to fund than exposing yourself on the streets to smelly, lawless leftists. I moved my family to Idaho to get away from the CA nanny state. Unfortunately, all the good work I had lined up to do from my home office in Idaho evaporated with the arrival of Obama in office. My work isn't "union work". It's mix of electronics/computer science/physics. My colleague of 10 years on the project passed in January 2010. He had the contacts in the DC area to keep the work funded. C'est la vie. Hang in. It's not going to get easier. Prepare and adapt.
If you need to sleep better, just remember the 10/2 union rally in DC to counter Becks massive rally, a dud. The WI protests against Walker, a dud. The subsequent recall movement in WI, a dud. And now this mess. As soon as the fun, food and nice weather leave, so will these dopes.

After drilling to Total Depth with the Hippie Drill, the Hippie Well Production plan calls for fracing 20 stages at 15,000 psi, pumping 20,000 tons of sand at each stage. We can use a gelled oil base to avoid using up available park water. That should get those hippies to flow back nicely, and after test we’ll just hook em up to flow into the main city sewer line. At last, fracing comes to New York, and not a moment too soon! Jobs Jobs Jobs!!

Yeah right. I noted how Gunwalker was front page news all over the place prior to this. Even CNN had a story or two a day on it too. Focused like a laser beam they were.
