We are being subject to a massive media war over what is really going on in Libya

Investigative reporter Wayne Madsen, who spent some time in Libya, shares his views on what’s really going on in the country and why the mainstream media deliberately misinforms the public about real goals of NATO.

He has said “Gaddafi (allegedly) has a lot of support in Tripoli.” Libya has attained the highest standard of living under this dictator. Like him or not like him, this fact is in his favour, at least he has not robbed the Libyan people to the point of destitution. He goes on to say “One of first places targeted by NATO was the Libyan anti-corruption agency. The agency was poised to bring charges against some government ministers for syphoning off Libyan oil revenue into their own swiss bank accounts. Almost to a person these are the guys who defected to the rebel movement. A lot of the ownership of NBC is General Electric, one of the big military contractors. Fox is Murdoch who has his own interests in keeping these wars going.”

Exactly. Lybia was a middle class socialist state with an average annual household income on par with low-end 1st World nations.

The majority of Lybians dislike an idea of being under Al-Qaeda for sure.

I won’t shed any tears for Gadhafi, but he was not the victim of a popular uprising...most of the rebels are foreign insurgents, and they took out Gadhafi with the help of NATO.

I hold no illusions that his replacement will be any better, especially towards Christians in Libya.
