Cain Supporter Mocks Bashir: ‘I Have Made It to the Big Time. I Am On MSDNC’

Apostle Claver, an outspoken supporter of GOP front-runner Herman Cain and founder of RagingElephants.org, appeared on Martin Bashir‘s program Thursday and jokingly referred to the host’s network as “MSDNC.“ DNC of course being the ”Democratic National Committee.”

Not surprisingly, Bashir found little humor in Claver’s comment, stating dryly, “it’s not actually that.”

Bashir began his segment by playing an earlier clip of Claver speaking before an audience in which he said that the Democratic party is the “party of the KKK.”

“It‘s the Democratic Party that’s the racist,” Claver says in the clip. “The Party of the Ku Klux Klan. The Party of Jim Crow. The Party of Bull Connor. The Party of segregation. The Party of the KKK. They are the racists.

After playing the video, Claver, who appeared live, graciously thanked Bashir for having him on his program. He then delivered his zinger:

I think this smear campaign is backfiring. It might even jar a lot of black voters back into reality. The DNC and the mainstream media are in the midst of a vicious smear campaign. They ignored it when white men had sex with youthful interns; impregnated aides and used campaign funds to cover it up. Herman Cain is facing nonspecific smear charges from anonymous sources and it has turned into a media frenzy. This is so blatantly unfair and unjustified. And no you cannot blame the victim of the attack. Do they think that the black community is not going to notice? This could easily provoke a huge backlash.

My wife and I were at the Old Country Buffet the other day and two older black men were near us having a loud discussion. They both sounded very angry. They were angry that white people were smearing Herman Cain. If you will notice, despite the firestorm... we haven't heard a lot from the usual black libs. The media reaction has gone so far over the top that I believe that they are risking a backlash.
