Just contributed to Newt's Campaign

Full-on once every year or two vanity....

I'm officially on the Newt bandwagon.

Cain will fade (never considered him Presidential. 'Secretary of Something' definetly.

It will come down to Romney and Newt.

However, I last contributed to Fred Thompson and he dropped out 5 days later.

Here's hoping Newt doesn't stab us in the back.

Fingers crossed.

Yes, first I realize this is total worthless vanity thread.

2nd regarding Cain fading, I don’t think Cain will hold the top spot all the way until the end. I think he’ll end up as No. 3 behind Newt and Romney.

And I’m not the only one out there saying that.

Every answere can’t be “999”. Unfortunately Cain does not have the depth that Newt has.

Notice I say ‘unfortunately’.

Actually, people who worked with Cain when he was a business executive say that his style was collegial. He would hold meetings where subordinates were expected to give concise, researched reports on things, on which he would base his decisions. He was not authoritarian.

I'm still undecided, except I don't like mittens. This campaign has taken so many twists and turns it's hard to know what's next. I definitely want to see if Cain survives these attacks, although I have a feeling he won't If they are coming from Axelrod, as I saw in a post earlier today, Cain is in grave danger.

Cheers backatcha.

I’m not saying that in a bad way.

His word was still law and you better perform.

FYI, I’m still undecided at this point. Not terribly enthused with any of my choices.

Ditto that.

Newty whining about EVERY question asked him at debates is annoying to 80% of the voters. Gingrich has about a 20% ceiling. Period.

I have been watching Newt very closely and he has moved to the top of my list. His interview with Bret Baier, Center Seat, was excellent, his debate performances have been great, I like his policy positions, and based on his past achievements, he is capable of getting BIG things done. Given what we have to choose from, I don't give a dang about his ‘baggage’.

The way to beat OBAMA ( One Big Ass Mistake America) is with a Cain.

Thnaks for giving us an honest read on the wisdom of your political judgment. I think I'll just send Herman another c-note. Newt has lots of money. He can wait.

What a steaming pile. As if Cain doesn't answer everything with that gawdawful 999 plan. Geeeez. Newt is DEAD ON to call the media out instead of playing their game. That is EXACTLY what a smart conservative does. Cain should try it sometime.

As for Newt having some sort of ceiling, that is nothing more than a number you pulled out of your backside. After a horrible start to his campaign he has hit his stride and is coming on. As Perry fades, Newt is picking up his support. When Cain fades, the same will happen. When conservatives have a choice between Newt and Romney it will be Newt all the way.

I'm officially on the Newt bandwagon.

1. Newt is toxic

2. Newt has baggage that the MSM will destroy him with.

3. Newt has one thing in common with McCain, he feels he is next on the list and "entitled" to the presidency.

4. Newt talked a good game once upon a time but shot his wad a long time ago....

5. Newt is nothing but a self absorbed RINO who has lost touch with the conservative party......

6. Notice Newt's recent comments, he has basically stopped referencing Cain or Perry and focused on Romney. The impression he is giving me is that only HE and Romney are the true contenders in this race........I find his political arrogance very disconcerting.

Then send Romney a few bucks, please.

All these guys will do good on the economy..some better than others. BUT...
Newt is the only current top-tier candidate who talks of faith issues(Santorum aside). We need to roll back alot of laws and policies that have negated religious freedom of conscious in the work place and in the medical profession and have advanced a sterile public square where religion and talk of religion is not tolerated. Romney and Cain dont give lip service to this. I will be giving Newt a token donation soon.

For sooo many years Republicans have been serving as ineffectual door stops on the swinging door of a secularism that wants to tie and bind down religious rights, freedom and expression. That door is very close to approaching full wide open.
