Fox News: Gov. Palin to Reveal 2012 Pick on Greta Tonight
Palin Promotions ^ | 11/15/2011 | Ron Devito

Gov. Palin tonight will reveal on Greta Van Susteren's On the Record which declared candidate she believes has the best chance of beating Obama in 2012, according to promotional language on Fox News' home page and in a promo video.

Ed. Note:

If the foregoing is true, we can reasonably conclude that all reconsideration, "earthquake" and other such efforts should cease. Further, this pick may or may not constitute an official Palin endorsement of a declared candidate.

Palin endorsed McCain 2010.

McCain refused to endorse Palin 2012.

Most likely, Palin will endorse Romney.

I'm saying it's either Cain or Gingrich, and more likely Cain, in part because of the strong Tea Party connection. But she's also said some nice things about Newt, so that would be an interesting development, and rather adverse to Cain. Perry, IMHO, is a non-factor for Palin at this point.
I agree with you 100%. There's no way in h*ll she's going to say Perry, Bachmann, Huntsman, Santorum or Paul.

And Romney, of course, is the enemy.

That leaves Cain and Gingrich.

I hope she says Gingrich but I think you're right, Cain is more likely and if she does say Cain I'm switching to Cain, from Gingrich. In the interests of Conservative Unity I will give up my own pick to go with Palin's Pick.

You could be right. I’d prefer you to be right. I think it might be premature to formally endorse at this point. Still, they are selling the show based on people wanting to know her opinion, so it will be interesting to see how this goes.

I predict she will say all of them have a good chance of beating Obama.

FOX just trying to up the viewership for Greta.

..a very important moment

Will Governor Palin prove to be the rogue she is portrayed as--or just another Republican politician going along to get along

After the hatchet job the MSM and the GOP establishment did on SP and her family, I would think she would want to launch all missiles with this endorsement--come on Sarah, endorse Herman Cain...

Any guesses which way she'll go?
My Guess: Palin will describe a hypothetical candidate who backs a certain list of conservative values, but never actually pick a candidate. Too early for her to pick the winner, and no one wants to be out there backing the loser.

Rick Perry had a lot of conservatives fooled before his maccaca moment on illegal aliens. Now, not so many.

He is basically the 2012 version of Huckabee with less charm.

I don't see anything on Fox that says Sarah will endorse anyone...tonight.

I see where she'll be on Greta tonight and only see this..."The 2012 race has now drifted into surprise and intrigue mode. Each day seems to have a stunning development (yes, never dull!) Make sure you tune in tonight to ON THE RECORD at 10pm…Governor Sarah Palin is our guest ..

Can you please post a link to your source? I may have missed it :)

What a misleading headline!

Sounds like she will just be discusssing the chances of the various candidates. Hardly something to grab viewers, like an endorsment would.

Shame on FOX (but everyone does it. It’s showbiz...).

At this point I wish that Palin(and I WAS a First Class Palin Supporter) would stay her FLAKY Posterior up in Wasilla and don’t SAY A DAMN THING. We(and the country) don’t need(or want) her weird brand of “drama”.

you people that keep saying Gingrich should be ashamed of yourselves. I certainly hope Sarah has more character and class than that.

Signs it will be Herman Cain
(1) Like Sarah, the Mainstream Media has gone after Cain with baseless attacks to try and destroy him
(2) Like Sarah, the MSM likes to portray Cain as a bumbling idiot who doesn’t know what they’re doing

She has more in common with Cain than with Newt.

Her respectability goes down the tubes if it’s RINO-Newt, RINO-Romney, or. Heartless-Perry. Discussions of her sanity will need to be raised if she says Kooki-Paul or Prett-boy Huntsman. There are those here that doubt she’ll pick Michele because of some on-going rivalry, and Santorum is probably out for some choice words he’s had for Palin in the past.

Come on Sarah. Hop Aboard the Cain Train. Chugging to a town near you!

Picking the candidate she thinks can win. is very like predicting the winning football team on any given Sunday.

Actually endorsing a candidate and supporting this candidate is a different thing all together.

Amazing how we go off on a tangent, over just about any opinion or subject. Meaningless really. It is simply another opinion ... Or our own opinion. No more no less.

I know Gov. Palin had a lot of friends here, but does it matter if she endorses someone?

Gingrich is a corrupt insider.

If you think she’ll support him you obviously don’t know her.

My guess is you show loyalty for loyalty McCain had her for VP so she repaid that debt. Some folks will argue but I think she WAS planning to run for President as she was making some Purely Calculated Political Moves

I should also add, Fox should be having Palin on to discuss issues like the Keystone pipeline, crony capitalism, Solyndra, and things like that! That’s her meat. But no, they always get back to the cornball horserace blather... the same tiresome, exasperating garbage that Rove/Morris/etc. are always wallowing in. Fox has become maddeningly unwatchable.

Who she thinks likely to win and who she would endorse could be 2 entirely different things.
