OWS Places Entire NYPD Under "Citizen's Arrest"
Pundit Press ^ | 11/20/11 | Aurelius

Occupy Wall Street has declared that they are placing the entirety of New York City's police department under citizen's arrest, demanding that police agree to be imprisoned and stop arresting protesters. The citizen's arrest has come from dozens of OWS supporters, who have declared that the police are part of the "1%" and that following laws is illegal.

I have a strong feeling, however, that the NYPD will not allow themselves to be cuffed by a bunch of protesters. Despite this, however, OWS is not backing down from their citizen's arrest.

Here are several examples from Twitter.

Arrest them all:

Isn’t the park private property?

And we try to use logic and reason when dealing with them!

Shame on us for our stupidity.

That is comical.

They think they’ve set up a parallel society. As if they are an island nation.

Let’s see how long that island nation lasts when, if they leave the park to get supplies, they are arrested for trespassing.

“give the people their park back”

Hey, idiot! It’s private property. It was NEVER the people’s park.

Yes, but it's a little more than that. It's a private property with benefits so to speak. Click the link for the rest of the story.

Reader's Digest version: Zucotti Park is named after the co-chairman of Brookfield Properties which owns the park. Mayor Bloomberg's girlfriend, Diana Taylor, sits on the Board Of Directors of Brookfield Properties. A subsidiary of Brookfield Properties received 138 million in taxpayer dollars for a "wind farm" just a couple of days after OWS started.

There are other interesting details you can read about here:

They just furnished the NY city cops with a wet dream. Of course it’s all talk by the OWIES, but if they purchance lost their collective rabid minds and did try to arrest some officers, they truly would learn the meaning of “resisting arrest.”

I wonder how many of these occupiers are getting taxpayer money for some kind of welfare, disability, food stamps, child support, veteran benefits, Section 8 housing, college grants etc.

They can pocket this money while living rent-free in some permanent occupied territory somewhere....maybe for the whole coming year....eating donated food, wearing donated clothes, sleeping in donated tents, keeping warm with donated portable heaters....well, you get my drift.

Even any diseases they pick up are free.

We have seen crud like the OWS crowd in history before.

Previously, they were the Lenin’s useful idiots, Mao’s cultural revolutionary kids, followers of Che, collective farm organizers for Pol Pot and drinkers of kool aid for Jim Jones.

They are not original and like a bad sitcom, these movements are always renewed by idiotic network executives disguised as academia professors.

It basically is that already. Half the stuff that has happened isn’t being reported.
